My ten year old son and I went on a full day fly fishing guided trip with Bryant. First, Echo was very accommodating about covid concerns and while people are often divided over this topic, Elizabeth and Bryant made us feel comfortable.

My son and I are both fishaholics. We let Bryant know that when choosing a location to fish. Bryant recommended an alpine lake that required a hike in. As we are sworn to secrecy I won’t reveal the exact name or location, but I can tell you that the hike in was between 1.5 and 3 miles each way. That said, it wasn’t too bad of a hike as anytime you offer my 10 year old fishing as a reward he will hike with no complaints.

We were rewarded w an amazingly beautiful alpine lake, essentially to ourselves. And the fishing was amazing. My son has fished a lot but this was only his second flyfishing trip. I’ve flyfished several times but not an advanced fly caster at all. Together, we caught and released maybe 50 fish all dryfly fishing. By the end of the day, my son was casting (standard cast AND roll casting), hook setting, and bringing his fish in all by himself!

Bryant is a great instructor. He’s patient and knows the ins and outs of fly casting. He also regularly changed up our flies during the trip which improved our catch each time. He took go pro footage of us which I really appreciate. This allowed me to fish… and totally relax.

I’ve fished a ton around the world. I’ve fished w many, many guides. Bryant is in the elite among the guides with whom I’ve fished.

But fishing for me now is different w kids and what I want for me isn’t necessarily what I want for my son. Bryant hits that difficult balance where dad’s hopes for an amazing fishing day can be fulfilled while son gets great instruction while having time of his life simultaneously.

Also, do yourself a favor and elect to hike in if you’re physically fit. You’ll find way more fish in a more secluded environment. Fishing this lake with essentially no one around is every fisherman’s dream.

For Father’s Day, I treated my father to a fly fishing trip with Echo. Bryant, our guide, took us into Yosemite valley where we spent the day in the river with amazing views all around. Bryant was super fun and patient with me while teaching me to fly fish. My dad picked it up much more quickly than I did and caught several trout! Watching the setting sun light up El Cap while standing in the Merced River was truly awesome. Bryant was personable, professional and a great teacher. Highly recommended!!

My mother and I did the Wellness Yoga/Meditation hike to the waterfalls, and it was amazing. We had such a great time. It was the perfect balance of mindfulness, peacefulness, and adventure. Our guide, Catherine, was really great; she lead us through the yoga and meditation, but also gave us space to do our own thing. And she was a trooper - Wasps attacked her during the hike, and she handled it like a champ, didnt stop the tour, didnt complain once about the stings.

COVID precautions were taken, and my mom and I felt very safe and secure.

She was amazing. I recommend the experience to anyone.

There was a group of six of us from the Atlanta/Charlotte area that hiked with Echo for three days and we all had a fantastic time with Echo Coop Adventures. We had our own private guides for three days and we hiked Yosemite Valley, the Sequoias, and Hatch Hatchy areas. Our dreams came true with Echo with superb hiking and informative and caring guides and one of the owners was one of the hiking guides. Nat, Jamie, and Zach were fantastic and knowledgeable guides who cared about us and our safety and took us on the hikes and sightseeing adventures at a nice and moderate pace.

Thank you Elisabeth and all for being patient with us and welcoming us with open arms after we had to postpone our Yosemite dream for almost a year due to the wildfires and pandemic. The owners Elisabeth, Jamie and Bryan really care about their clients like us and I will only use Echo when I hopefully return for some more hiking in Yosemite.

Hope to visit you all again and wish you continued happiness and success in your endeavors at Echo and in life. Thanks for making my dreams come true at Yosemite. The world needs more caring and kind people like all of you, thank you.

We did 3 trips with Echo, and all were excellent. I spoke with Elizabeth by phone initially, and she spent a great deal of time helping us to chose the activities which would fit our family. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, prepared and safety conscious. The lunches were fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend this company.

Love our private tour, esp our guide Laurie. It’s our first time in Yosemite and doing a guided tour is the best way to see it in a day. We took backroad trails that tourist don’t know about which made it unique. It was also not crowded. Our guide knew so much about Yosemite. The lunch option was also good.

I can not say enough about Echo co op tours! We were cancelled last minute by Yosemite Outfitters (I can not say enough about how unprofessional they were), and had to scramble to book another fly fishing tour. Luke at Echo walked me through the options and got us booked in a days notice! Luke was our guide, and even though he is quite young, he was awesome! He was patient with the kids (and us!), and very knowledgeable. The tour itself was peaceful and serene and the most beautiful backdrop for our first experience fly fishing! The company was well prepared with gear, and brought a delicious sandwich lunch with fresh watermelon and even avocado! The day was great and I truly appreciate the experience they were able to give us!

It was an informative and very enjoyable experience. The beautiful scenery was complemented by the information given by our tour guide (Nathan). It was one of the best guided trips I have been one. We were allowed ample of time to take in the scenery. The snowshoe walk to the Sequoia trees were out of this world. I recommend this to everyone.

Wonderful full loft apartment (well stocked kitchen, dining room eating area, living room with comfortable couch and chairs and nice bedroom separated by a wall). All the amenities were there...large towels, quality hair, soap, and bathing products as well as lovely decor with good lighting, nice windows, floors, etc. and a healthy breakfast of bananas, coffee, tea and granola (oh and let's not forget the almond milk in fridge, oj and the popsicles!). Set back from the road it was also quiet and well situated in the town of Groveland. Really can't say anything but great things about the establishment. The people that greeted us were friendly and engaging and very helpful. We will definitely be back
