Best ATV trip ever, and I've been on ATV rides all over the world. We were picked up at our hotel in Reno by Lisa. Then we were created at the ranch by Kevin. He showed us around the great barn where parties can be held. Then Scott reviewed with us the working of the ATVs. He checked our skill set then we were off. He catered our ride to the skill of our group. Beautiful views. Great rides throughout the country side and up into the mountains.

Went snowmobiling with Ken and Kathy Smith who run Explore! Sierra Touring out of Chalet View Lodge just east of Graeagle. We had an amazing time and I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Great equipment, great instruction and all around great folks. Can't wait to go back!

This was an absolute blast! My 15 year old son and I took the two hour ATV tour with the trap shooting. We're both familiar with shooting shotguns and trap but my son was new to the ATV. Cassie, our guide, did an amazing job making sure my son was comfortable and she maintained a speed suitable for him until he gain more confidence. Safety and customer comfort were on the top of her list!
The property is absolutely beautiful. Cassie stopped at several spots to point out wildlife tracks or other items of interest. When we got to the trap range, most of the equipment was set up and we spent some time blasting clays. Then back on the atvs for more riding. Time flew by and before you know it, we're pulling back into the barn area to say our goodbyes.
I can't say enough about how nice these folks are! Anything we needed was taken care of. If your in the area and are looking for something fun and exciting to do with half your day, you got to try this place!

This was a great experience for our group of 5. We ranged in age from 54 to 78 and we all had a fantastic time. The tour guide, Scott, was very helpful and very nice. We hope to go back when there is snow and ride snowmobiles here. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a good time.

This place is amazing! The vehicles are well maintained, peak performers! You can go as fast or as slow as you feel comfortable. Wonderful staff, the ride itself is awesome, some great scenery and views. They have thought of everything. A nice mid ride stop for snacks and drinks, activities all along, and in the end you come back to some of the best home cooked barbecue in the area! What an amazing experience and GREAT business idea!!!

I've never been on an ATV in my life. I was a bit intimidated at first, but Ken and his group made me feel so comfortable and at ease. His group was extremely welcoming, informative and friendly. We began on a little training course, and after getting a feel for the ATV's we went on a breath taking tour of the mountains. We managed to spot some bears as well!! Along the way Ken's wife took photographs, which turned out very professional and high-quality. We came back from the tour to an tasty home-cooked BBQ meal. A memorable trip I will never forget. Well worth the cost!!
Pros:
-Provided bandannas and sports glasses to fend off dust
-Meal was an added bonus, didn't expect it to be so good
-Professional photographer captures the special moments
-Breath taking tour with great scenery
-Friendly staff, top notch customer service
-The MUD pit
-A place to rinse off afterward with clean towels to dry off
Cons:
-We had to leave at some point
An incredible value and unique experience. Highly recommended. 5/5 stars!!!

We went snowmobiling with Ken and his wife today and had a wonderful time. They were very helpful and constantly showed us the proper trails and dug our machines out of the drifts! Very fun, very enjoyable, and we collectively would suggest this to anyone! Furthermore, we can’t wait to do it again! He mentioned he has a ranch w/ 27 miles of atv trail, so I suppose we’ll have to come back in the summer! Thanks again you two!

This place is great for private parties, especially if you like camping and music. We were looking for a place to have a couple of nights of music and camping for a Fifty Birthday Party. It worked out great. About 200 kids and adults hung out and caught up with each other without being bothered by anyone. We had five bands play over two nights and it was awesome!
The hosts are as cool as the Itchy Back Saloon and the Barn it’s in. Ken and Kathy Smith take the lead and Ken’s mom, Maylou, is so awesome, so down-to-Earth, and cool; she sets the culture for the whole 1,500-acres. Her hubby, Farmer Jim pokes around too; they all have a great sense of humor. And Ken’s high school buddy, Scott Sampo, is super-friendly and helpful. These guys were a ton a help and had endless good stories to share.
We had a potluck street taco feed on Saturday night and the Ricochet Food Truck came by on Sunday morning to feed the party. The BBQ grill can feed the masses.
The Itchy Back Saloon and Barn is where the music and revelry carried on. What a place! It’s too cool to describe and takes you back west so you need to be ready for a shot-out at any moment. It was our own private Music Fest and it was a blast!
We recommend this place to any group ready to get loose – good place for a raging wedding too!

The trails were cool, I was the only one on the tour and I got to enjoy every part of it. I'll definitely be going back.
