Of course it's dated as other have mentioned, but it's a drive in who cares. I think tickets were $6/adult. Most weekends they show a double feature. Great for the family. Whenever I'm in Santa Barbara I always try to get Freebird's nachos (near UCSB campus) then head over here to watch a movie. Great reasonable nostalgic date night!

A bit dated and located near the highway (convenient but occasionally noisy), this is really the only drive in around SB. Decent concessions and premiering new movies and slightly new double features. Always lotsa parking spaces!

Enjoyed this place to catch a modern flick on the screen. Ordered popcorn which was a little small but good. Our car battery died and they were great at jump starting our car, very kind and understanding. Can't wait to go back.

The West Wind offers double features, all the time. This is the best evening fun for the family and dog. The dog just hangs out in the back, and we have a picnic in the car. At some point, the urge for popcorn takes over and its an easy trip to the snack bar/building.

This is a great place for a date ir to take you kids to the movies. Everyone should go to the drive in. Not to many left so this is a must

They often have double features and for the price it's a steal. You can even bring your own food and not get hassled like at regular movie theaters. Excellent for casual weeknight dates. Weekends get a little crazy as people tend to tailgate and drink, but still fun even then.

We usualy go to trader joes and stock up on snacks. We load the car with snuggly blankets and wear very cuddly clothes. The price is like $8 a person but you get two movies and a fun experience. I tend to fall asleep but its like camping but with people around and a giant screen. This is one of... More

Took my boyfriend here to see Spiderman and it was fantastic. We don't have many of these places left on the east coast, so it was a fun quintessentially California place to see! All together, we spent about $25 for the movie, popcorn, sodas and candy -- such a deal! Great time!

I went with my family to catch a couple movies last weekend. It cost a little over $20 for the three of us for 2 movies, which is really cheap considering the skyrocketing ticket prices. We figured it would be hard to sit in the car to watch the movies, so we brought beach chairs and blankets and sat outside.... More
