Beach Exploring

The beach was mellow and relaxing. Watch out for the tar, sticks to feet like glue. The water is good for swimming in summer. Hope to go back in the winter to surf here

My dog and I love this beach. Walks here are like spa treatments for us both. South of the beach park is one of the longest beach walks inSB county and it is.. Dog friendly! Never dissappoits . There is room for a long Sandy beach even when the tide is in.

We really enjoyed the quiet environment, cool breezes and warm sunshine. It was a beautiful beach to walk on with great views of the mountains, UCSB, and the coastline. We took a long walk south and saw a sick seal, a swimming pigeon that finally made it to shore, and a really weird man standing still at the south end... More

Parking is rough on weekends and holidays, so go early. The beach is family friendly, grassy areas for BBQ's. Fun to walk out on the pier past the pigeons and seagulls, see the channel islands out in the distance.

This is a great place for a family BBQ at the beach, plenty of parking. The erosion fix is a bit problematic at the moment but don't let that deter you from a beautiful want out on the pier

And there are a lot of options around here. What I love about it is the reserved picnic areas. I had 75 people at my party and there was still a lot of room left. What a place to have a large picnic! Great views, ocean swimming course, nice uncrowded beach, nearby parking. We also reserve area B for our... More

Goleta Beach is a good place to go to get away from the crowds. The wharf is long and attracts people who like to fish. The Beachside Restaurant has an oyster bar that is very good. One of those little hidden gems.

We took our dog with us and had one of the most memorable evenings on this beach. It was majestically beautiful!
