In the wine world, tradition often tempers creativity, individuality and imagination. But at Imagery Estate Winery, an unconventional approach inspires richly expressive wines and a wine drinking experience that entices you to broaden your palate. After a day in wine country, it can all start to blend together. 'Chard, Merlot, Cab, Pinot, Chard, Cab, blah, blah, blah. At Imagery, we're all about experimenting with new varietals, exploring little known grape regions, and shining the spotlight on wines that are usually swallowed up in big blends. Stop by for a walk in our herb and vegetable garden, a tasting, or a tour of our art gallery.

We visited via the Sonoma Wine Trolley on Wed. Sept. 21. I forgot the name of the gentleman that conducted our tasting but he was fantastic describing the wines and was a big reason why we joined the wine club. Lovely grounds and not too far from Sonoma Plaza for those who are driving.

Wonderfully relaxing wine tasting experience. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Also very patient as this was our first time participating in wine tasting at a winery. They were offering fantastic artisan pizza on the patio. We ordered each of the three pizza's and purchased two bottles of wine we enjoyed from the tasting! Delicious and so much fun we had with... We enjoyed our wine tasting at the Imagery Estate Winery. The person who helped us explained the art on the bottles and was very helpful.

Imagery is a small winery in Sonoma County. Their claim to fame besides delicious wines are the beautiful artwork that adorns their bottles. Each label has a picture of the Parthenon hidden within it. The tasting room is fun and unpretentious. The staff know their wines and there is a definite positive vibe between them. There is no pressure to... More

The vineyard is related to Benziger. Went there for complimentary wine tasting after a great tour at Benziger. Had a very nice time with good wine. We purchased a bottle of Lagrein.

The great thing about Imagery is the art. Each label for each wine is unique, and learning about the history of the family in Glen Ellen and their biodynamic wine making practices was very interesting. They have a beautiful picnic area and the hosts were very nice and so approachable. Sorry to say that I really didn't like the wine,... More

We went to Imagery as part of the Sonoma Wine Tasting trolley. It was our first stop. Lovely outdoor patio for the group tasting. Bought a bottle of their delicious chardonnay. Loved the artistic labels on each bottle.

We stopped by to sit out on the green space in the Adirondack chairs with a glass of primitivo wine. They are friendly and even found suggested dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant, Star. Thank you Caryn!

We received free tasting coupons for this winery when we did the Benziger Family Winery Biodynamics tour at the end of July. It was only a few miles away so we gave it a try. David was very knowledgable about the wines, vineyards, and artwork on the wine bottles. He asked what kind of wines we liked and recommended wines for... More

We only stopped by Imagery because Benziger gave us free tasting coupons. Thanks Benziger. We are now club members! Imagery is so unique...from the art on the walls and labels to the varieties of wines they offer. We loved every wine we tasted. Leslie was an excellent server who was enthusiastic about both the wines and the people who make... More
