In the wine world, tradition often tempers creativity, individuality and imagination. But at Imagery Estate Winery, an unconventional approach inspires richly expressive wines and a wine drinking experience that entices you to broaden your palate. After a day in wine country, it can all start to blend together. 'Chard, Merlot, Cab, Pinot, Chard, Cab, blah, blah, blah. At Imagery, we're all about experimenting with new varietals, exploring little known grape regions, and shining the spotlight on wines that are usually swallowed up in big blends. Stop by for a walk in our herb and vegetable garden, a tasting, or a tour of our art gallery.

We stopped by to sit out on the green space in the Adirondack chairs with a glass of primitivo wine. They are friendly and even found suggested dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant, Star. Thank you Caryn!

We received free tasting coupons for this winery when we did the Benziger Family Winery Biodynamics tour at the end of July. It was only a few miles away so we gave it a try. David was very knowledgable about the wines, vineyards, and artwork on the wine bottles. He asked what kind of wines we liked and recommended wines for... More

We only stopped by Imagery because Benziger gave us free tasting coupons. Thanks Benziger. We are now club members! Imagery is so unique...from the art on the walls and labels to the varieties of wines they offer. We loved every wine we tasted. Leslie was an excellent server who was enthusiastic about both the wines and the people who make... More

Nice setting for small winery. Enjoyed tasting the different grapes they use. Ended up buying a white with grapes of Spanish origin I have never heard of. Fun tasting list not to be missed.

Very nice winery with small lot wines which are only sold at or through the winery. Very attentive and friendly staff. The winery has a number of outdoor areas to site and enjoy the wine.

Imagery is a nice place to visit. The grounds are attractive, the tastings are not expensive, they have a beautiful art gallery and even a bocce ball area. Joe Benziger is the wine maker and at Imagery he is specializing in special, out of the ordinary wines. So, Imagery is a good place to go to try the wines and... More

We have been members since they opened their doors many years ago. Consistently wonderful staff that treat you well. The wines are always beautiful and we never leave empty handed. The grounds are perfect for a picnic and kids can definitely burn off energy here. The art on their walls deserves your attention. Note that this winery can get really... More

My wife and I showed up to Imagery as our final stop and we should have made it our first! They had a great wine tasting room and great patio seating. In fact while we were their, they had an event going one which had pairings with sliders & oysters. We enjoyed them so much we took 4 bottles home... More

Very nice wines, and the tasting was complimentary because we had been to their other winery site, Benziger. Take some time to look at the wall of bottles of past vintages. All the labels are original art, and they all have a picture (or suggestion of a picture!) of the Parthenon on them! Good wines, too! The small gallery in... More

We had our best time in the Napa/Sonoma area at Imagery! We had ordered a bottle of the Imagery Rose at the Glen Ellen Inn and then by chance I opened up my maps on my phone and happened to see it located 2 miles away so we had to check it out. There were 2 fantastic ladies, whose names... More
