We are a small family owned winery located in the heart of the Sonoma Valley. We believe that single vineyard wines make for the most interesting and satisifying drinking! Since the early 1990's we've constantly looked for those vineyards that...more

Among several wineries that we visited in the Sonoma Valley, this one sticks in my mind. It had an old world charm and the fact that it was run by a family made it that much more interesting. We bought one of their wines as...More

We visited this awesome little winery during our Wine Trolley Tour and this was by far our favorite! We so loved their "family" approach to things! In fact, we signed up for their wine club and are looking forward to getting their wines here at...More

We stopped at Mayo as part of the Sonoma Wine Trolley. One of our favorites. Courtney was a our guide and pourer. She was fantastic. We ended up buying a couple of bottles. Not pretentious at all and very friendly. Our kind of place.

My wife and I planned a week long trip to visit both Napa and Sonoma and this little gem of a winery did not disappoint. They have significant variety and are very small in terms of total production (around 3,000 cases). We followed up our...More

Our server was very knowledgeable about the Mayo wines but was not enthusiastic about our visit. The wines we tasted were average. Our visit was included in our free wine card but I wouldn’t pay for this tasting compared to other wonderful tastings we have...More

Visited from MI not impressed with the winery at all wines were not good family was wonderful and friendly. The best part of the winery was the cool old truck out front. Not worth the trip to CA

We’ve all been there.. it’s late in the day and you just want to leave work- that’s what happened to us at the Mayo Reserve Tasting Room. First let me say the tasting is along the highway- it’s very noisy outside and a realtor is...More

Great little back area to drink your wine. Shade trees to keep the sun off and the wine is very flavorful. Plenty to choose from and the staff is very friendly and helpful. One of the cheapest tasting around and they aren’t shy about the...More

We had a wine tasting here. The wine were ok without being exceptional. The estate is however somehow poor - the wine tasting was held in sort of a warehouse with a lot of boxes and an entire mess around. The outside is better though.

Mayo was recommended by friends as a "must stop here" on our tasting tour. They were correct. Everything we tried was fabulous. This was one of the few places we visited that was a "sweep", where we loved everything. Everything tasted so balanced, yet distinctively...More
