We are a small family owned winery located in the heart of the Sonoma Valley. We believe that single vineyard wines make for the most interesting and satisifying drinking! Since the early 1990's we've constantly looked for those vineyards that provide a great match between terroir and varietal. The result is an array of small batch, single-vineyard wines that meet our criteria. Whether the vineyard is in Sonoma or Napa, or our own estate, our pledge to you is that we will produce a collection of wines that are always interesting, always compelling and always delicious. Making over 20 varitals of wine there is always something you can find that fits your taste here at Mayo!

We had a wine tasting here. The wine were ok without being exceptional. The estate is however somehow poor - the wine tasting was held in sort of a warehouse with a lot of boxes and an entire mess around. The outside is better though.

Mayo was recommended by friends as a "must stop here" on our tasting tour. They were correct. Everything we tried was fabulous. This was one of the few places we visited that was a "sweep", where we loved everything. Everything tasted so balanced, yet distinctively...More

Amazing wine tasting, great winery and lovely staff. Tasted amazing reds and a fabulous port. Became a member and ordered 6 bottles to drink when we get home.

Last winery of the day. It was beautiful winery. Courtney was knowledgeable and very friendly. The winery wasn’t busy and so the tasting was very personalized. We took a tour of their work space, which really was just some barrels and equipment that wasn’t in...More

Visited as part of a wine tour. We had three wines to taste and more on request. Very informative about wine process, you don’t get a tour of the vineyards.

We stopped in here after visiting the Jack London Home. It’s a fun family owned winery. They were busy with a lot of visitors for the taste of Sonoma event that weekend. We tasted in the tasting room and in the barrel room. The girls...More

We stopped on a whim. My wife and I shared a tasting. Cute little place; nice little patio off the back where you could enjoy a glass of wine if you wanted. None of the wines were particularly memorable. The gal behind the counter was...More

We just randomly stopped at this winery on our way to Sonoma. Of all the wineries we visited, this wine was one I remembered. I do not drink zins typically but after letting this breathe, I thought it was special and purchased a bottle of...More
