Tasting fee wasn’t waived by purchase as the website states. I understand that 2020 and now going through the start of 2021 has been very challenging. When you advertise on your website that the tasting fee is waived with 3 bottle purchase you should do just that. I’m a firm believer that if your product is worth it then you don’t need to try and survive off of tasting fees.
After tasting their 4 wine, and oil and vinegar flight I realize why they don’t wave the tasting fee. Their wines aren’t worth the what they charge for a bottle so they are now trying to survive off their tasting fees.

Dear 728pams, We want to apologize for this oversight of not waiving your fee, especially if this was stated on the website. We are disappointed that you expressed disappointment with your tasting, and we hope you reach back out to us if you wish to come back for a free tasting. You can reach out to conceierge@trattorefarms.com along with your name so we can accommodate you. Our best wishes to you from the team at Trattore Farms.

We'd definitely recommend the "Get your boots dirty tour." It's a little expensive, but an unmissable experience to see both the unique vineyard, the olive oil operation, and of course the unmissable views.

Everyone on staff, especially Ed (who gave us our tour) was accommodating and welcoming -- they even let us take the tour even despite a scheduling mishap (on our end). Thanks all! Will definitely be returning if we're in the area.

Our group of four signed up for the Get Your Boots Dirty tour & tasting and had a great time! After settling in to the tasting room with a glass of sparkling wine, we jumped on a 4x4 open-air Kawasaki "mule" for a tour of the vineyards, olive orchards and olive mill. We learned so much about running this sort of farm. Really fascinating. After the tour, we hung out on the terrace overlooking the Dry Creek Valley enjoying a tasting of Trattore wines and olive oils (try the Persian Lime!) complete with a plate of cheese & charcuterie (from local Healdsburg purveyor Journeyman). Our favorite wines were the Stone Soup (field blend) and the white Rhone blend with Roussanne and Marsanne.

All in all, wonderful hospitality!

We visited Trattore Farms for tasting olive oil, panini, and charcuterie on the scenic outdoor patio and were not disappointed. The setting is stunning- we could not have asked for a more gorgeous vista for lunch in the wine country. The pomegranate vinegar was a favorite with our family, and we opted to purchase more to take home. We look forward to returning the next time we are in northern Sonoma.

We were fortunate to have been brought to Trattore by in-laws. First visit reactions-great views, very friendly tasting room staff, good variety of wines that all are tasting well plus a big selection of olive oils.

Opportunities for food pairings and tours. Tasting fees $20 to $30 if you are not a club member though the tasting fees are refunded if you buy sufficient wine and/or olive oil.

We decided to try Tattore Farms for their vineyard tour. Started with some wine and a little history lesson. Then Andrew took us out for a ride in the ATV with stops along the way to see the vineyards and olive oil facilities. We returned to the tasting room to continue enjoying wine and the also ordered a couple of their wood fired pizzas which we ate on the outdoor terrace. As we were getting ready to head out, the owner, Tim, offered us a behind (or below) the scenes tour of the production facility where we met the winemaker. Absolutely wonderful from start to end. We will definitely make this a stop in our next visit.

We had a delightful tour with Mary Louise and enjoyed learning the family businesses of wine making and olive oil pressing. The grounds are lovely, as is the tasting area. We very much enjoyed the charcuterie offering with our wine tasting. Several Trattore wines, olive oils, and balsamic vinegar are on the way to our homes!

There are so many wineries in this part of California, the visitor's challenge lies in selecting only 2-3 to visit on a particular day. This one should be on your list. Most wineries have attractive tasting rooms, relaxing outdoor patios and impressive views and, of course, it is hard to find a poor glass of wine. Trattore checks off all of the boxes. What makes them special is their selection of olive oils and balsamics.

They produce a variety of oils (flavored and unflavored) from their Healdsburg Blend to Persian Lime or Habanero. Balsamics have flavors such as pear, Meyer lemon, or pomegranate. You are encouraged to mix and match - tasting with bread cubes or drizzling on popcorn. Try Serrano oil with raspberry balsamic for some sweet heat. Tasty fun.

Although everyone has their own wine preferences, be sure to try their Stone Soup blend. It is a nice change of pace from all of the Zins, Cabs, and Pinots you are used to having.

Before leaving, be sure to ask of one of their "special" brownies (no, not that kind). It is a basic brownie drizzled with some lemon olive oil and raspberry balsamic and a sea salt sprinkle. OMG/GOAT.

Come for the olive oil—stay for the wine! The olive oil pressed at Trattore is fabulous—taste them and the balsamic at the winery, but don’t ignore the wines! Great Roussane, Zin and red blends that will knock your socks off. The view is stellar and the staff is terrific!

My husband and I were around the area when we stopped here on a whim. The grounds were beautiful, the knowledge and service from all team members were great, the delicious citrus popcorn was fabulous, but it all came down to the wine. The pinot noir, roussanne, and stone soup were excellent. We are excited to be members and cannot wait to visit again soon!
