About
The winery sits on a 120 acre property that has been in the Mazzoni family for nearly a century. We are located at 21112 River Road in Geyserville Ca 95441. Most of the grapes for Zialena’s wines are sourced from this property. The vineyard has grown for the last 80 plus years premier Cabs and Zins and offers a true taste of the heritage of Alexander Valley. Sitting on the valley floor, Zialena offers views of nearby mountainsides dotted with oak trees. The facility consists of two building. A 7,000-square foot winery with production capacity for 20,000 cases and a 2,000-square foot hospitality building open to the public for tasting, but also available for private indoor and outdoor events. Tasting room hours are 10 to 4:30 7 days a week with last tasting starting at 4 o’clock and last appointment tasting beginning at 3 o’clock.

This is a winery you should 100% put on your list. It's small but has a rich history and fantastic story. We so enjoyed our time there and the wines are great! The guide gave a tour of the concrete vats which is a unique and interesting process.

Put this one on your list!

Beautiful grounds and great little tasting room. Staff was awesome and poured way more than what I was expecting. So much more that I gave up after the third tasting. Their rose was delicious and I can't wait to drink the bottle I bought. Would definitely return when the weather is more mild and lounge outside.

We happened upon Zialena Winery quite by accident. They where having an event/party when we arrived, but we were welcomed all the same and enjoyed a tasting of their delicious wines and picnicked outside at one of their tables. We even ended up joining their wine club. Fun experience and delicious wine...isn't that why we tour these establishments?!

If you are lucky enough to have Lisa, one of the owners, in the tasting room - what a treat! Knowledgeable, personable and delightful! Beautiful property! And wines are impeccable! A must to visit when in the area!

Laura and Mark were super awesome! We enjoyed the tour and the all wines were wonderful. I can't wait to enjoy my bottle of Zinfandel sitting on my back porch on a cool night.

The winery is brand new but the winemaker and owners have been growing grapes for a very long time. The new concrete and steel buildings are very interesting. They have an excellent field blend and zin and cab. Friendly and knowledgeable men behind the bar!

Friendly family run, modern winery with good wines. Nice place to visit. We were there to watch a ravioli demo during the Alexander Valley Experience.

This was recommended by the folks at Honor Mansion and by Medlock Ames winery. It's a mashup of modern wine-making and a century of tradition, with the owners being fourth-generation Geyserville vintners. The tasting room is ultra-cool in a new, modern building, where co-owner Lisa Mazzoni took us through the tasting menu. She described her family history in the Alexander Valley. She also offered to show us around the wine-making facility, where we saw fermenters cast in concrete. We'd seen wood and stainless fermenters at other wineries, but concrete is an interesting vessel, harkening back to the ceramic vessels of early Roman wine-making. As for the wines, each had what we found to be a unique flavor, and we were hard-pressed to pick a favorite. This is a delightful winery to visit, to see the old and the new merged into what could be a bright future for this wine-making family.
