I could have stayed all day. Amazing place it is so special. My kids even loved it a must see. I could go back and read the floor all day.

Although the cathedral itself was under renovation when we visited, a very nice lady gave us a tour of the exhibits of what the finished cathedral would look like. The tour made our visit much more fulfilling and provided us with more understanding of how the cathedral was started and where it will be going in the future. The general... More

This place is not far from Hampton Inn where we stayed. I was expecting a real crystal church but it wasn't. The tower was made of steel and inside has a small place to pray, made of different shades of marbles. The big church is under construction n was empty so we didn't go in. There's a cemetery and different... More

Our family always enjoys being able to attend mass at a local church in whatever city, town, country we're visiting! And this was no different; I hadn't realized that the Crystal Cathedral was bought by the local Archdiocese ... what a beautiful, serene and peaceful property! Its too bad that the main cathedral was still under renovation, will save this... More

This is truly a sight to see if you are near Anaheim, Ca. Very close to Disneyland. Even though the sanctuary is gutted, it is being worked on by the Catholic Diocese who bought the property. The grounds are very beautiful and inspiring.

It would be easy to visit Anaheim only for Disneyland - we didn't venture there, having 'done it' in Florida, and yet found so much to see. The Cathedral being one of the amazing memories. Easy to find and park - set against a clear blue sky it is so photogenic.

So sad to pass by this cathedral since the Schuller family broke up and filed for bankruptcy. Followed the remnant of the congregation down the street to Shepherd's Grove where the Hour of Power still thrives in their new venue. The architecture here is still something to see although it is now run by the Catholic Church. It is currently... More

When one walks into this structure you stand amazed at the amount of glass and steel they had to use. The campus has some nice landscape.. Visit takes about 30 Min.

We stopped by here to check the place out. The architecture and statues around the grounds are truly amazing. At the time we stopped by it was undergoing renovation so the building itself was not open. We're looking forward to checking out the inside once it opens again.

It's a great place to take friends visiting from out of town. Even more so for those familiar with the New Testament. There are many statues representing various books in the New Testament. Also, for those into architecture, there are several buildings you will enjoy having a look at and taking in.
