    Service Variable
    We used the services of Karmel shuttle several times during a recent trip to Disneyland. The shuttles are very clean and in good repair. They guarantee no more than 3 stops. However we found the drivers and service variable. Our driver from LAX to Anaheim was excellent and gave some good tips about things to do. We also booked a trip to Univeral including park admission. We were told our pickup was 830 but to be outfront at 815. Shuttle did not arrive until about 850. Our shuttle to return from Universal was also late and on the return drive he seemed to get frustrated and started weaving in and out of traffic in an unsafe manner. We were happy to finally arrive at our hotel! Our shuttle driver on our return to LAX was at least 30 min late and on the drive informed us he was stopping at Long Beach airport first. Sensing that people were not happy about this and concerned about missing flights his driving too became erratic and frightening. Next trip to LA we will investigate other options.

    Great service for those with larger group or family
    Karmel shuttle is a bit spendy for transportation, but they get you to where you need to go! We were a bit sceptacle of our first pick up at the LAX airport when the van arrived with graffiti on the side and no seat belts in two of the seats in front row. They were broken. The driver was great though and efficient. Then on our pick up on the way back to the airport John wayne we needed picked up some place other then our scheduled hotel, due to getting stranded without a way back to our hotel, which was a scary adventure in itself... I pleaded with dispatch to please send the driver to us which was only 2.5 miles from where we originally were to be picked up, in an area you dont want to be stuck in. Dispatch at first said they could not do that and that we would need to find another way back to our hotel. The problem was we had 7 people, myself and six children and no uber or other shuttles in the area that would take that many! We had taken a metro bus to where we were, but that same bus cancelled without notice to return us. It was a very stressful, scary situation. We were on a tight schedule in order to catch our plane back home and our luggage was all back at the hotel as well. Long story short, after much pleading and explaining the desperate situation we were in, dispatch got a hold of the driver who not only agreed to pick up our luggage, but agreed to drive the extra 2.5 miles to come get us so we could make the airport. Originally dispatch agreed if I would pay and additional $150 that I did not have, on top of the $199, I had already paid for the scheduled trip. Driver went above and beyond and got us for no additional! He was an angel, after such a distressing experience!!! I cant even begin to explain how thankful we are for him and for what Karmel agreed to do for us! I Would recommend, but do plan on spending more than you would for uber. If you have a large family definitely worth it!

    Nice drivers
    Pickup takes a bit longer as they don’t have spots to “wait” at the airport. Pickup from hotel was fast and right on time, however the driver drove very fast, it almost felt like a roller coaster at Disney from the back seat. Overall, we were pleased with the company.

    Mixed messages!
    Beware! I booked a shared van service with a maximum of 5 passengers with getawaytoday.com. Was led to believe that since my family is 5 then I didn't need to book a private van that I could book a shared van at a lower rate. Not the case! When we were picked up the van was late. But that was fine it was a weekday in LA and our driver was friendly. After our stay the return trip was right on time. We got all loaded in the van as the driver said they had to go pick up another party of 4. This is not what we were led to believe would be the case. The driver was courteous and called his manager that I could here talking loudly about how a shared van is 9 max. I called and spoke with the manager and he put the blame on getawaytoday.com for the confusion! He was not friendly. After picking up another group of passengers we were packed like sardines filling every possible space including the front seat of a fairly dirty van. Just be aware you get what you pay for.

    Fantastic service LaX to Anaheim and return
    After being cancelled with super shuttle stopping services to lax, Karmel were an absolute delight. Before i had time to call at lax, our driver was calling me. Easy pickup. On return, they were early, but it was not a Karmel branded van. Signs in car demanding 20% gratuity is a bit much. Tips should always be based on service.

  • NEVER AGAIN
    Complete S*** show.....and waste of money. Driver that was supposed to pick us up from the airport was 1.5 hours late. Not sure who owns or runs that business but seems like they need to improve drastically. Driver from our hotel to the airport was late as well, we almost missed the flight. Will NEVER EVER book with them again!!!! Stay away if all possible!

    Good Customer Service
    I had to cancel my booking due to the Covid 19 situation. I canceled online however they still charged me for the service. They very quickly reversed the charges. I was very happy that they gave me good customer service. Companies like this will be suffering due to the travel ban so I wanted to let everyone know that they are a good company that are doing their best.

    Worst experience ever
    Everthing was fine booking and contacting them at LAX...And then came the pick up. The shuttle was long in coming. Another driver contacted the driver and gave him our location. Driver of our shuttle then drove right past and stopped down the way. I called and mentioned this. Dispatch said I should have jumped out and stopped him! After a bit I got them to pick us up....Driver not happy and did not speak to us let alone apologize.

    Very Punctual
    I have used Karmel Shuttles many times and have always found them punctual, friendly and efficient. I ring them once we have our baggage and cleared customs and they aren't far away. Really good service from airport to Anaheim hotels and always on time picking us up from our hotel to return to the airport, highly recommend. Im booking them again soon as a group of us are kid free and off to Vegas!

    AVOID KARMEL SHUTTLE
    Horrible driver experience. 4/9/19 driver screamed at a nearly 80 year old member of my family, told her to not speak to them, would not touch her suitcase (which shuttle drivers are expected to do as part of their service offering), drove erratically, blasted music with no consideration for the comfort of the passenger, etc. When asked why such an attitude, said she was upset about company policies and LAX traffic that eve. So, it’s thus OK to treat a customer beyond horribly? We subsequently tried twice to communicate with the company’s management team and were told: as ride is done; nothing we can do. If you look at TripAdvisor reviews to decide if to patronize a business, heed my warning - AVOID KARMEL SHUTTLE.
    We thank you for letting us know of your experience. We are very sorry this driver did not provide quality customer service. If you have your confirmation number or last name on that reservation, we will research who your driver was and act accordingly to coach and counsel this driver's performance and make sure the complaint is logged in this driver's file. We arrived in LAX from Australia (first time in USA) and had a fantastic driver take us to our hotel. He was friendly and chatty, and was happy to point things out during the drive and answer our touristy questions. It was a wonderful first point of contact for us in a new country. Our second driver on the way back to LAX was equally friendly and professional.

I liked that you could confirm two days before online if you wanted instead of phoning.
