A Great Park

Woodward Park is a amazing place to go to relax, bike, walk, have a picnic, through the ball around, or just enjoy a evening at the outside theater. I highly recommend this park!

A lot of trails for running and biking. Also nice for a picnic or just a day in the park. A lot of birds in some areas of the park. The park also hold concerts and arranges activities.

My regular place for weekly 6-7 mile walks. Plenty of trails and walkways to choose. River runs thru the west end where you could dip ur feet and sit in a group. Has shelters, resting benches, toilets and dog park too.

We toured the gardens in 100+ temps but it was very quiet and well maintained. Watch out for the Canadian Geese on the surrounding park;they're very aggressive.

We love ducks so we take a break where they're hanging out. We're also very pleased to have our own Shakespeare Festival every summer. Last summer, we... More

This park is very large and we drove around and stopped at various spots. It is so dry in CA that seeing the dried grass was not as exciting as other parks that I have visited. The dryness has really impacted vegetation.

It is a nice park, the Japanese gardens are nice but be careful with your car! Several break-ins, don't leave anything visible. There is a $5.00 per car fee to get in (may have increased, but not sure). The surrounding neighborhoods are very nice & it's a good park to ride your bike or run, but you also get others... More

This City park has it all, dog park, peaceful walking trails. Beautiful ponds for the ducks. Planning a family picnic or company get together, Woodward park is the cleanest park.
