If your visiting Fresno, this is a beautiful park to visit, and cool down. Lots of shade trees and water, and a pleasant place to take a walk. The Japanese gardens are a must see with all the sculptured miniature trees. A fun relaxing place to be for both locals and travelers alike.

As a resident of Fresno since 1998 I am pleased to have had the opportunity as have many of our residence to be able to enjoy the Woodward Regional Park. I take pride in seeing the extensive use of the park by our residences. The great picnic areas, small lakes for the fisherman and larger reserves for ducks and geese.... More

The wife & I live a couple blocks from the park & we visit it 5,6 times a week. The wife has been "walking the park" Mon - Fri for 30 years. I ride my bike thru the park 4-6 days a week. Needless to say that we love the park & never get tired of it.

This is a very pretty park and enjoyed feeding ducks with my Granddaughters. The only creepy part was a elderly man with no shirt and short shorts - exercising right next to the children's playground. We got our Grand kids and left. This is the main reason it was not rated 5 stars.

We went walking and enjoyed the beautiful scenery at Woodward Regional Park. Our walk was both relaxing and invigorating.

Woodward Park was designed and built for those on foot. Cars are allowed but I would not recommend it you could get run over by a mob of angry runners, power walkers.

My family reunion was held at Woodward Regional Park. The park is well maintained and has many walking trails. Our reserved shelter area was clean.
