Years ago I took my children to this park. The rides were run down. They were cracked and peeling and the operators were too. We cancelled my son's birthday party because the police were draining the lake because of a dead body in a car had crashed into it. So when Kim Leonard suggested I take my granddaughter here, I... Wonderful ambience for families with children. Both attractions have recently been renovated and deserve huge kudos! The new Dinosaur Island that has been installed between Storyland and Playland is awesome!

Loved coming here as a kid and now its so fun that is is back, revamped and I can bring my child here. Love the stories and the way its displayed. The train is a lot of fun (especially now that Playland is open as well) and the storybook key is a must to get the full experience.

We were in Fresno not long after the playland portion of this park(next to the zoo - do both in the same day) had reopened and Grandchild \Stanley had so much fun. As the 3 yr old is so mad on dinosaurs the railway ride that takes you through a park of dinosaur models near the lake was one of... More

Probably cut off for this place is somewhere in elementary school. My 7yo and 2yo enjoyed it very much. At Storyland We opted for a key for story box and my 7yo enjoyed listening to story and enjoyed summarizing it for me. Unfortunately train wasn't running that time. After Storyland, we walked over to Playland. Rides are geared toward elementary... More

We had so much fun with our Grand daughters at Storyland and Playland. This is a hidden gem inside Roeding Park. Will definitely enjoy this part of the park more often.

My kids enjoyed this 35 years ago. They have kept it up for years. Lots of things that the little guy's to do. It's in the same location as the zoo, boats and picnic grounds. The whole park is covers by big tree. Ample room to play ball, tennis courts available and much.

Storyland is a landmark in Fresno, and with the $80k they spent on renovations and repairs, it looks beautiful! I grew up going here with my parents and grandparents and will take my kids someday when I have them.
