Beautiful space in a kind of rough area. The students, staff and artists at Artes Americanas obviously work very hard to offer a very special art program.

Friends took my husband and me to this museum’s Day of the Dead exhibit and we loved it. They had a good variety of paintings, some by local high school students, of people wearing skull-like makeup or of skulls or skeletons (calaveras) performing daily activities; some, such as one of the “Dead End Band,” showed the humor that is such... Arte is not afraid to experiment--and not afraid to stretch the imagination and boundaries for those who visit. A casual vibe, but, providing the right atmosphere for thinking, learning, conjuring, dreaming and learning. Fresno... More

I like the different art that is displayed. The best part of the whole place is the Tiendita. This is a small store that sells all kinds of crafts from Mexico.

I really enjoyed the visit, it's not that big but it's clean and have good art. The only thing I wish, is Fresno should really get involve more, have the 2 mayor colleges to participate for more art, I don't see why Fresno would spend more money on water parks but not art?? How? And why? I understand we live... More

There is always a creative and original display. I particularly like the annual " Dia de los Muertos" in Oct/Nov.

I'm a member at CMAC (Community Media Access Collaborative) and I can hear the music coming from Arte Americas when they have events there. Sounds like a lot of fun!
