The Fresno zoo is awesome. There are tons of animals, birds, reptiles and snakes. You need take most of the day to see it properly. My favorite part is the giraffes. You get to see them close and can even feed them...

The new Zoo layout is awesome and kids and adults will love the New Zoo! The new food court is great along with the savanah layout and aquatic area. Great Job!

The new African exhibit has really updated this once tiny and aging zoo. I was surprised by the exhibit. There are also several tasty dining options that were not available before. I would visit again.

Go there every year with family and grandkids during special events. The new exhibits are great and depict a greater kind of care for the animals with more room to roam.

No you cannot get a snake placed on you in the zoo they are kept behind glass. There is a reptile store in north Fresno that does allow you to touch different animals though.
