Great place to visit the snow and play just to chill. There was a couple of feet of snow, we just pulled over before the Nordic Base and found a great little hill to sled down.
Easy drive from Santa Barbara, about 2:30 hours.
Beautiful,Clean and quiet. A gorgeous drive with crisp clean air. Very small mountain community that prides itself on keeping a tidy, well groomed town. Recommend a visit there.

Excellent nature place to go out wth family and have an excellent fun playing in the snow mountains, not a lot of parking but just be patient and a good spot you will find, be ready with camera and take a lot of picture ☃️❄️⛄️🌨👍🏼

We went a couple of weeks ago and there was a couple of feet of snow at the Nordic Base. You should have at least a couple of feet on the ground, just go closer to the Nordic base at the end of the road.
