I would come back and drive down this trail to make sure I can stop by several meadows showcasing the grandiose views the ocean provides. I also found some pockets of river that we can go down, explore and enjoy the cool waters without the...More

We walked the trail on a day where there were hardly any people, so that was a huge bonus. We walked from our hotel to downtown along the trail then wanted to go downtown, but could not find the path to get there. The land...More

I don't think there is any other trail like this anywhere on the Calif. coast. Lots of places to set & enjoy the ocean views, great paved trail to keep your feet dry, & very dog friendly.

Excellent views of the rocky coast line. Trails are nicely paved and level. Migrating whales are often visible during the migrating season.

Love this trail. Good for the whole family including someone in a wheelchair. It runs from a state park to the downtown. Fabulous views can be had along the way.

Rode bikes on the entire trail from Mackerricher SP. It was about 14 or so round trip. We could see whales spouting fro the trail. It is a pretty easy ride but there are some parts where the pavement is rutted. Would definitely do again.

We Loved our entire stay at the Country Inn as Christine met our every need with cookies & cocoa at check in, followed by one of two visits to her marvelous Jacuzzi. Glass Beach is right around the corner for walking the trails. The bed...More

Beautiful sights! Nice slow drive, with lots of pull off spots to take pictures, or to dip your toes in the water.

There is a bike shop on the main street- Highway 1. Coming from the north it will be on a corner on your right side, south-on the left side. There is a parking lot behind it at the next north west corner.

There two different locations of Glass Beach. One involves going down a steep hill to the beach and it is disappointing. Just north of that, there is a residential street with a gate that opens to take you to a flatter... More
