Spectacular scenery

We drove from Yreka to Eureka, by way of a narrow curvy road with a nearly 6000' pass, through Sawyers Bar. Much of the road was 1-1/2 lanes wide but fully paved. The season was... read more

This really is an amazing and beautiful area. We stayed at Marble Mountain Ranch, and traveled around a bit in this area while we were here. Horse back riding and rafting were a blast.

Away from the hustle of most of California, the Klamath National Forest has wonderful opportunities for fishing, hiking and camping. A great family vacation area.
