We went during the week (closed on Wednesday) drawn partly because they have a restaurant. Once we saw the outdoor tasting area with comfortable seats and incredible views, we sat outside on a very nice day, tasted fine wine, enjoyed their small and pricey small plates. It was a really fun day and we spent quite a while there because... More

We stopped at this winery by chance it was one we found open after 4:00. We did the wine tasting, it was nice they came over and told us about each type and some history of the vineyard, The grounds were beautiful and they has live music at 5;00.

We had driven almost three hundred miles (heading from Paso Robles to Healdsburg) and Google Maps told us that Russian River Vineyards was one of the only places still open for a tasting and a meal. When we walked in and asked about availability for dinner, the hostess asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't, and she seemed... More

I've been there a number of times, and always head there with visiting friends and family. It's a beautiful outdoor space where you can take a walk in field, see incredible chickens, bring your dog, drink fabulous wine and eat fresh elegant food made with vegetables from their own garden, all without the hype so common in some of the... A rustic, relaxing, laid-back environment. Could have stayed there all day. Went there around noon. Tasted some wine out on the patio. Thought everything we tasted was great. Bought a couple bottles, a friend of mine joined their club, and I'm having Sarah ship some to me! Also had lunch on the patio. Great food, great service. Later just chilled... More

An afternoon at Russian River is a total delight! The setting is beautiful, with lovely trees and gardens, a beautiful old building and two antique cars that add rustic charm. The wines are all great, and the people are warm, friendly and knowledgable. They even have a friendly musician adding to the charm. Chris O'Neil and his staff do a... More

This was our fifth and last winery visit over two days, and our favorite. The setting for tasting is outside. We were seated at a picnic table and served our samples there, unrushed and relaxed. It is one of the few wineries in the area with its own restaurant. We did not eat there, but wanted to take a picnic... More

My wife and I just came across this winery on a whim. So glad we found it. The grounds are beautiful, the tasting experience even better. We are laid back and not by any means wine experts, but James was the perfect host at the tasting. He explained the wines in simple terms, had great conversation with us and gave... More

Will our server was both knowledgeable and practical. Had two favorite Pinots one he recommended to serve at parties to friends the other for myself accompanied by a box of chocolate and watching Netflix. Worth the stop.
