This was my third time to the autoclub speedway. The speedway is fast and the show is usually something you'd want to see again. The Fanzone is a area for fans with a certain level of pass. We stood in line to get Bubba Wallace's autograph for over an hour only to be asked if we had a armband from a merchandise purchase. We had merchandise with us to get signed and had purchased several items at the track. We had to get out of line, make a purchase only to find out they were out of armbands. we were allowed to get in the end of the line and luckily get the autograph. We also purchased pit passes and waited in line again for hours to get autographs and were able to get many. The food is pretty expensive. A bag of popcorn is 7-10 dollars and hotdogs or burgers can run between 10-15 dollars. With that said it's still exciting and something everyone should see at least once. I prices were reduced I think a larger fan base would result.

Don’t know about watching races here but I did enjoy racing on the track. Of course I’m just an amateur racer so no fans in the stands. But that’s ok. Great track surface which is appreciated at 150 miles per hour.

This was our first visit to this event during our holiday in the USA. We had a magical time over the weekend. The Off Site RV Camping site was friendly and well set out. All days on the track were enjoyable and jam packed with entertainment. The Staff were helpful and proffessional at a very well organised event. All of the Racing fraternity were courteous and available for photos and information. Thanks for a memorable experience. Jill & Ray

Party place, party place, don't expect to get sleep. Great place for young people 20's. Nice during the day for families with kids. Fun to see the spruced up RV's, bicycles, skateboards, etc.

I started coming here from the beginning, i was actually involved in the community effort to bring it here..had a rv spot on the front row of the infield until i was relocated( they moved the entire back stretch front row back 1 row to accomadate the sight lines from the grandstands at that point i was going to stop going but then the president gillian called me and asked why and offered me a better spot, which was great except for the out of control neighbor who had too many people, trashed the spot, left industrial generator on all night, rampant drug use, finally gave it up and now just sit in the grandstands..now the speedway has no consideration for any long time customers it's all about how much money they can get from you
ticket prices are ok but after you add the service fee's it's not worth it..now i just show up and buy a scalper ticket ..plenty of those and plenty of empty seats..the food is horrible.

We went here in September 2018 because my 7 year old daughter loved fast cars and wanted to ride in one. Since my kids loved reading books they were part of the lefty’s kids club so we went here on lefty’s track day. Some people drive their own car around the track but my daughter wanted to go in a race car so we paid to go around the track two times in a race car. I sat in the front and they sat in the back. Both my girls were so excited the whole time and just kept talking about how we were going so fast and over 100mph. Truly enjoyed this experience and eating hot dogs while checking out lefty.

I've only been to NASCAR Races here. this Track is well planned out and everything is situated perfectly. They have worked hard over the years to alleviate traffic issues and they are successful. I've been to 5 other tracks for major race events and I've never seen a track or venue for that matter, as well organized as AutoClub Speedway. Its very Fan Friendly.
I do recommend that you bring plenty of Sunblock as there is very little shade and it is in the San Bernardino Desert so it can get really hot!!!

This was our second race at Auto Club, and we had a mixed experience this year. As with last year the nascar race here is family friendly for the most part, and the people who come to see the races are friendly. We had great seats in row 42 which allows view of the full track and the seats were across from the pit stalls so it was fun to watch them. Hearing protection is a must - 40 race cars make a LOT of noise, so we know to always bring earplugs in addition to any headsets since it can be really loud at any minute!
Tickets are moderately priced which many options for upgrades which are fun if you like to visit the pit area and see the set ups for qualifying and race day. Since we had tickets last year, we had an option to renew the same seats which worked out well. We went to the pit area but didn't really get to see many drivers which was unfortunate, but did get to see several celebrities who were attending the race!
This year it was quite noticeable that the track did not sufficiently train most anyone who was working as customer service, security, or any other part of the event management staffing. For example, we had questions about cameras and received different answers from every single one we talked. It felt like once the employee was given a jacket and walkie talkie, they were let loose with no training - including no knowledge of where anything was located around the event! Many people were as frustrated as we were with lack of information.
Food at the track is not cheap, and is mostly hamburgers, corndogs and other fried foods. The food pass is definitely not worth the money and only valid at certain places that are all basically serving the same food. We did eat while we were there, but knew in advance that our options were limited so we planned accordingly.
Parking was typical for a large event - you can get in fairly quickly, but it takes 1.5 hours to get out again. There are trams into the entry points from the parking, and then can pick up between points around the track which was really nice. The routes out of the venue are long - they close the normal traffic patterns and block many turns so that everyone exits at a specific location a few miles from the track.
We rented a fanvision unit but brought our own headsets. Returning the fanvision was another area where last year's return process was much easier - this year was very chaotic and could definitely have been handled more efficiently.
Overall, it was fun to attend a nascar race, and hopefully they can shore up their event management staff to actually be helpful by the next race.

It was much better when it was owned by Roger Penske. Customer service was better and the place was cleaner. It is still a fun place to go but when Penske owned it you felt special!

How long is this? I'm going to watch a friend and curious if they have food and water? What did your friends & family do while you trained etc?

It be hard for me to answer that question because I was alone when I did it I didn't have anybody with me sorry. They're very nice just call and they'll answer all your questions for you. Instead of watching you should jump in and try it

Are there any restrictions on what you can take into ACS in Fontana?
Are there any restrictions on what you can take into the racetrack?

I plan to go to the NASCAR event at ACS in March and would like to know what time the pit opens for pit pass fans. This will be my first NASCAR experience. I am coming from OC and am not sure how long it takes to get there and more importantly to PARK (i.e. NASCAR traffic).
Thank you for any advise you may have.

This is our first race ANYWHERE. My husband is a huge Jeff Gordon fan, I wanted him to see him before he retires. I want to make it the best experience possible. So...is it worth it to purchase the block party tickets? What is the buffett? Is it 4 alcoholic drinks per person?

I wish I could help you, but we had no experience with a block party and my husband did the Indy car, not the one your husband will be doing. I'm sorry! I hope someone can help you out!
