Go down there frequently just to browse around, get a drink or just window shop. Has an early frontier feel to it.

We arrives on the 4th of July and did not expect to see that most of the shops were closed. That was OK as i gave us a chance to walk at our leisure and check out all the architecture on the street.

A must see when in Folsom! Quaint little stores, wine cafes, places to stay, eat and drink as well as shop. All wrapped up in old and historic buildings.

In a small section of Folsom, you will find several unique shops, great restaurants and a few cool night clubs with live bands.

Very cute town but don't understand shops closing at 5 or 6pm. Restaurants are open...so why not shops. There is train to Sacramento and hiking and biking paths to Lake Natoma.

Had hoped there would be more history on Sutter St. Drove through and didn't see anything we wanted to stop to see. Headed to the prison museum.

We had out of town visitors and wanted to give them a taste of our little town. We toured the history museum and walked the main street. When you are there, stop at Snooks for a confection or ice cream.

We went to Old Folsom earlier this month to see the work of an artist we know. The Bag Lady is a women's boutique that also features the art of several artists every month. Once a month they hold a reception with nibbles and drinks...More
