Just 30 minutes is all that it would take to go through the Folsom prison Museum it's really a small converted house. You might even be able to get through there a lot quicker if you don't read every little thing that they have printed...More

The adventure starts the minute you turn onto the road leading to the Prison. You cant help but think a little about what it would be like if you knew you were not going to be leaving. The museum is small, but interesting. A Huell...More

The museum was small but had several exhibits and the video about the prison. I had not realized that seventeen movies were actually filmed based on life in this prison. The attention to detail was clear.

This was much smaller than I expected but was kinda cool. It’s in 2 rooms which are the size of someone’s office. You get to see some cool things while in there. Won’t spoil the surprise. It’s worth the few dollars they charge

A must stop in Folsom for Johnny Cash fans. Museum is relatively small, admission only $2 for those over 12 years old. Interesting exhibits of prison related information, artifacts, and implements creatively, though illegally, constructed by inmates over the years. A small space is devoted...More

No. He actually played inside the prison and you cannot go inside. The museum is located outside the gates.

I don't think anyone is allowed inside the prison. The museum is small, no need for a tour
