We loved the melon salad at the cafe, and visiting with the darling goats. We have visited each time we came to Fallbrook where we are looking to retire. Our last visit was in October 2019. We returned today, looking for a relaxing lunch before resuming our house hunting. So sad to find that the gardens and nursery are closed permanently. What a loss of a beautiful space and wonderful cafe!

I was in town for a wedding and looking for something to do with my daughter and we found this hidden gem. It appeared to be a nursery but as we explored realized it was a destination with a nursery at its entrance! Something new and unique around every corner! We came to buy a gift and ended up staying for hours! You MUST get a picnic basket, grab a planet and find a spot under a tree and enjoy locally grown ingredients in salads and sandwiches and leave room for the PIE!!! The people are as friendly as they come and the farm has such beauty! Make sure to add this to your itinerary as you plan your day in Fallbrook or the surrounding areas!

Myrtle Creek used to be a great place to visit but then gradually started to decline. New management was put in place last year though and now it's off the charts. Whenever we have friends come to town now this is one of the must see places. The cafe for lunch on the patio is great but you must have their homemade berry pie!

Not too much to see there in November. Cute boutique shop if you are into Fairy gardens. Fresh Xmas trees for sale but, very overly priced.
Saw 2 goats but area mostly closed off. The Bloom cafe only open on weekends was pre-made sandwich, wraps, salads 11.99 myrtle berry pies.
Was ok, but won't come again for lunch. We continued up the road to the Myrtle Winery. 👪 owned both places.

This is a nursery that is a little made up for nostalgia. The food consists of fast-food brought in ready packaged from some place. They also have a (one kind) of pie that is ok. It is a poor excuse for an entertaining place. I have tried it a few times to buy plants, I have given up I would not even recommend it as a plain plant nursery.

Myrtle Creek has knocked themselves out fixing up the place and it's lovely. They're done a whole French bistro thing, adding a patio for dining next to the little pond and waterwheel. Food is now served 11-4 on Saturday and Sunday and they have music most Saturdays, some Sundays. The barn now has a petting zoo with goats. The nursery was pretty before but now it's lovely, great place to stroll and I always find something! Congrats to the owners on making this such a special place.

They’re closed. 😭. It’s a sad day. These mom and pop shops are getting over run by big business. Sorry to see it go.

A great little place to take photos, visit with the goats, shop in the quaint shop and walk around! Beautiful selection of plants and flowers, lovely grounds.

I love the energy I feel when I'm at these gardens. It's such a nice escape from the daily grind for me. They've got everything I need for a day of relaxation. I love sitting at the Café and listening to the water fountains. I find it is also a really great place to meditate among all that beautiful nature.

Check out their gourmet meals at the Plantation House when they have events there!

If you are looking for something special that all ages can enjoy, I recommend Myrtle Creek. It is a garden, so everything is in bloom and very pretty to stroll, browse and shop for plants and garden items. They also have a gift shop. The clothes are expensive but the soaps, lotions, and preserves are reasonable. The grounds offer shaded walking paths that can accommodate wheel chairs and strollers. There is seating outside in the garden area, and you can get a meal, beverage, or slice of pie in the café and enjoy it on the grounds, the deck of the restaurant, or inside the restaurant. I recommend checking out the menu ahead of time. It is not a full menu; They offer a few selections, so see if the few items offered are what you want to eat before you go there. The pie is delicious! They had a few goats which were fun to watch, a 100 year old barn, gazebo, and many places to take pictures. It was a fun afternoon. Parking is confusing.. I recommend making a left turn right when you enter the property even though driving straight LOOKS like the best way to get in and park. By turning left, your car ends up aligned with the direction of the parking spaces as you drive around the parking loop to get a spot. They do have plenty of parking.
