The factory was shut down for yearly maintenance. This didn't matter to us. However the tour is now self-guided high above the floor. There are placards to read and videos to watch. It wasn't the same. Our teens and adult children did love daring one another to try the "nasty" flavors like grass and dog food.

The Jelly belly factory is the best, organize and cleanest factory I've ever visited. The employees are very knowledgeable about how the jelly beans are manufactured.

We had a great time taking the tour at JB's. Perhaps even better was the variety of sweets to choose from. Fudge to jelly beans, Carmel apples to sour worms. The selections are endless. Take the family out for a great time and take the tour.

We were there around a year ago and they had guided factory tours. Now it is a self guided tour with TV screens describing the operations. If possible you need to go Monday - Friday when the factory is in operation. That is the best part. The gift shop is great; a 5 star. The fast food restaurant is good;... More

We had a friend visiting from out of town who loves Jelly Belly so we thought it would be fun to go, two adults and two kids. When we got there, we were disappointed to find out that production line was closed for maintenance which occurs 1 time a year for 3 weeks. We still decided to take the tour... More

We were in Napa for a wedding and on the drive up from San Fransisco I was looking for something to do with the kids to kill an hour or two. Low and behold Jelly Belly beans are made right up the road from Napa, and they had a factory tour. (and it was FREE).... As a Jelly Belly fan... More

Nice self-tour with free samples and an ample gift shop, with decent discounts. Check before you go, however; twice now we've gone on " no production " days, so there are only videos to watch, but nothing happening on the floor.

We took the tour with our teenage daughters who really enjoyed the tour. It is definitely a family fun outing! I think small children would really enjoy it as well.
