If you wish to avoid the crowded beaches of Tsambika, Lindos, Faliraki ... go to Kalathos Beach. Very organized beach with sun beds and umbrellas as well as a small bar if you wish to have snacks or drinks. The area is not windy and the water is amazing.

We are a family of 5, 3 kids aged 8, 10 and 12 and we all fell in love with this beach and bar. The sun beds are super comfy and the beach itself is quiet and relaxing. Yes it's a pebble beach so flip flops not the best choice of footwear but crocs for the kids are perfect footwear.... More

We could see this beach from our villa in Kalathos so had to visit. This beach is stoney but lovely. The beds are nice with pretty shades covering them. A lot nicer looking than some umbrellas on some beaches. Nice places to get food with friendly staff.

This was a lovely quiet beach. As it was stony the sea was so clear. The beach did shelve quickly so not so good for children. Beach bars at both ends with sun beds and loungers. Great for swimming, sunbathing and relaxing.

Ran here three mornings in a row. To the south it ends at a 'military' fenceline; to the north it extends for miles, with varying terrain of smooth stones and sand. Highly recommended, quiet and private, outside of the beaches in front of Ostria and Atrium Palace. Also good for swimming.

Lovely bar on nice peaceful shingle & stones beach. Owned by an Italian friendly chap, and Natalie who worked so hard all day keeping everyone supplied with food & drink all day with a big smile, she recommended several nice places for us to eat which were lovely. They played nice chilling music & the beds ar 4 euros each... More
