Not as busy as it should be. A pretty large site of extensive and well preserved remains, with some fascinating features, including agora, streets and theatres. In a stunning position on a hilltop with amazing views... you can overlook the site of the sea battle...More

Such a neat piece of history off the beaten path! I loved reading the all of the placards telling of the city! Very close to the city of Preveza

We have been to this site two times. This was an important site in years before Christ. It is so interesting to see how the stones remained together. A must to see.

We meant to visit this site either early morning or late afternoon...but somehow managed midday - it is very hot and exposed but well worth the effort - 2 large amphitheatres and many building layouts with surprisingly good description boards. It is open from 08.00...More

This site is reached by a short walk through a lovely forest and is 2 euro's to visit. The views from the site are worth this money alone but the real interest is in the remains of this ancient city. There is enough of the...More

Found this place on our meanderings in the area. We found it locked with no information as to the opening hours but a large whole in the fence made for easy access. What a setting allow at least 2 hours to take it all in.

Don't miss it. two theaters, a small and a bigger one, the ruin of the market arches and a must see: an ancient hotel or market place calles Katagogeio. Close to Zalogo, above Kamarina village. A hat and water are necessary for summer days.
