I have been here over 5 times and it continues to impressive me. I love the view, wine and staff. With Covid 19 restrictions you will want to check the website. Reservations required on the weekend. They have made changes to the operation that made me feel safe. Lots of wines to choice from.

Stopped here on the way home from San Diego Zoo safari park on a Friday afternoon around 4pm. There was already a crowd. A great blues band was playing on the large patio with a great view of the vineyards and hills. We got a couple of glasses of wine, joined another couple at a table and enjoyed the music, the ambiance and warm sunshine.

We live 10 minutes from Orfila, belong to the OWL wine club and always enjoy stopping for a tasting. We often stop by on late afternoons for a tasting or glass, a food truck and some live music in a lovely setting.

Chose this winery because this was one of the only wineries/vineyards open during the week. Ended up being a great choice! The staff was very knowledgeable about the wine and their recommendations were spot on! You get 6 samples at $15 or $20 if you want a souvenir wine glass too. The wines for the most part were very good......but I think it’s pretty typical to have some you like and others you don’t. Thats just part of wine tasting! The tasting room was quite large and they have a nice gift shop and snacks you can buy. The best part was getting a glass of wine and just sitting outside to enjoy the view!

Had a wine tour day with a group of 8 friends. Orfila was our first stop and best stop. Spacious inside tasting room with plenty of helpful folks to assist guests. Got our tastings at the bar and took them to the outside patio overlooking the lovely vineyards and gorgeous surroundings. Enjoyed most of the dry reds very much but did have our favorites. Loved the views. We did our tastings at our own pace and took our time to enjoy each one as we compared notes and flavors. They do not allow outside food but do have a little "supermarket" for nibbles while you sip. What a great first stop.
