Best course in Escondido area

Booked a tee time through Golfnow. Price is reasonable for the great condition that the course is in- considering the drought conditions. (The fairways on another area course had... read more

This winery was good. Great sampling!! You can go outside and relax on the chairs with a great view of the mountains in the background will you sip on your wine. Wine prices were fair

Booked a tee time through Golfnow. Price is reasonable for the great condition that the course is in- considering the drought conditions. (The fairways on another area course had mostly dead grass). Paired up with a local who helped considerably. The marshall was also very helpful and told me what to expect. It would be tough to play it for... More

This course was the least expensive course we played at out of 4 in the area and by far the best shape of all. A really nice challenging course that plays to almost everyone's skill level. Beautiful scenic course with a very profession courteous staff. I couldn't have asked for a better day other than a few more birdies.

Played in a scramble tournament. Very well organized with free range balls ahead of time. Nice range too. Good practice green. Course is pretty wide open but with narrow fairways. Okay though as rough is not all that rough. Greens were in outstanding condition. Much better than last year. Tee boxes also in excellent condition. Rest rooms at the turn.... More

The course had just gone through overseeding & we could not drive the cart on the fairways. It was o.k to drive in the rough though. The course had lots of water & sand hazards to contend with. The fairways were very wet & the ball did not roll much. The greens were very good.I really enjoyed the layout, but the narrow fairways made it... Gnats galore!!!!! It's a great place, except for those pesky bugs. It was our first time there, and I was being attacked even well before we teed off! I don't know what's worse -- having them dive bomb you in your ear, or up your nostril! According to the marshall, it was even worse several weeks before. Ugh! (To me,... More

A tale of two courses. The front and back nine are very different. The front has some funky holes and is just ok. The back on the other hand opens up to beautiful vistas and more interesting holes. Nice staff and reasonable rates.

Came as a single after reserved on Golf Now. Course was in good condition, a little disorganized at the start but it worked out just fine. Played with three local guys who were both helpful and friendly. I'll be back.

The Vineyard is located just East of I-15 in southern Escondido. The course is in good condition and the green fees are very reasonable compared to other courses in the area. There are several holes where water comes into play and there are nice views of the surrounding hills. The large greens have some undulations and there are quite a... More
