I used to "really enjoy" going to Eagle Crest GC...now, only the greens are in good shape. The fairways are all brown with dried out hard pan dirt. Course needs water and lots of maintenance. The day I played the temperature was 95 and there was NO water in ANY of the water cooler stations. After the round, Pro shop... More

This isn't a golf course it is a dirt track with rocks in the bunkers. Not worth the drive from anywhere to play here. Even if it was free it would not be worth it.

not expensive, ok course, but had a good time. For the money it was about what we expected and were good with the value.

This course is about the worst I have ever played. First off, it is impossible to get to. Prepare for a loooong drive thru Escondido's traffic ridden streets, then out into the country for what seems like forever. When you finally arrive, you are greeted by a trailer for a main building. Inside you will find some of the least... More

The Eagle Crest Golf Course is in a housing development in Eastern Escondido, California near the San Diego Wild Animal Park. The layout is very interesting with lots of oak trees and dense jungle like wooded areas. It helps to be a straight hitter if you don't like penalty strokes for lost golf balls. There are a few hilly areas... More

Wow. What a deal. Excellent layout. Great greens. Condition was lush. We had a blast. Nice and quiet with good views. Some houses on a couple holes but they don't crowd the course. Value and fun that is tough to beat!

I played this course on a whim due to funding a golf now discount on a rainy day. Wow! A beautiful course with amazing views of the foot hills surrounding San Pasquale.

If you're budget conscious this is a good option. This is an adequate course to play a round of golf, but the course is not particularly well maintained. One benefit is that due to a low number of people playing we had no one in front or behind us!

Eagles Crest is a beautiful course that winds through some pretty vistas in Escondido, CA. Houses often surround the holes, but they don't detract from the course's beauty. A par 5 on the back nine is particularly challenging. You hit downhill and then have to go over or around a big pond for your second shot. The green has a... More
