Right now the creek is dry in some parts, but others are full of water and fun to see. My friend and I biked several trails in the cool of the morning and the ride was interesting and varied.

This trail (I walk between Elk Grove Blvd/Emerald Oak to Elk Grove Florin) is really nice and peaceful when I walk my dogs. Best when there's water in the creek and we can see birds and beaver dams, and maybe a beaver.

The trail runs along Laguna Creek, and can be accessed at a number of locations, including Waterman Road, Jack E. Hill Park, and Del Meyer Park on Elk Grove-Florin road. Each location has parking. The trail winds along the creek for about a mile. There...More
