hidden gem!
Feb 2020
What a wonderful find. They have a large store full of unique items for your home and garden. Great outdoor place for your kiddos to run! They even have different equipment on the lawn for you and your family to use, volleyball, badminton, soccer, etc. in a beautiful garden setting. Wish they would invest in a larger snack bar. They also have a soap shop with some great finds.

Charming store
Oct 2019
We've been going here for decades and it never gets old. A stop into their soap shop, browsing through their main store, a stroll through their gardens to see what's new and sitting with a drink on their patio are all musts when visiting. My house and gardens are full of purchases from Summers Past.

If your looking for a gift that's unique in a nice garden atmosphere this is the place to go. Plenty of parking and gardens to walk around. Food and drink sometimes in outdoor setting.

Beautiful place to relax

I live close by and decided to drive over and see what all the fuss was about. I found a very charming boutique with an outdoor patio where you can purchase refreshments. In addition to the great patio space there is a park like setting where your pets can run. Great place to sit and read a book while sipping some tea or lemonade.

Cute place for gardeners or children
May 2019 • Friends
This family owned business has 2 buildings that sell scented soaps , candles, garden decor, gift items. There is a covered seating area that is pet-friendly that also serves coffees & teas . Another area has a selection of potted plants, herbs, seed packets for sale.
But the real draw to Summer Past Farms is the flowers in Spring. We went in May 2019 and there were many hollyhocks, sweet peas, sunflowers, lavender , & roses in bloom. There is a small chicken coop and a short floral maze that may fascinate children of all ages.
Check the temperature before going. It’s cooler in Alpine! Dress in layers.

Nice, pretty place to chill
Oct 2018 • Family
If you want to see lovely gardens and have some refreshing drinks while enjoying the day, then come here. We came for the pumpkin patch, but have been coming just to enjoy the lovely flowers. There are 2 stores to buy things like candles and soaps and knick knacks for your home. It is well worth the trip down Olde Highway 80. Come in the spring for the lovely blooms or come in October for the pet costume parade. Oh yeah, did I mention it is dog friendly?

Country Feeling, City Close
Feb 2019 • Solo
A charming, family owned small nursery with adjacent gift and soap shops located right off Interstate 8 (Dunbar exit). Lots of options for interesting and unique gifts for all occasions. There are a variety of gardens on the property that you can walk around in or buy yourself a coffee or tea and sit for a bit to savor the country charm. Many small weddings have been held in the beautiful gazebo area.
