Breakfast is better than lunch or dinner. Just so so. I wish they would change their menu, its been the same for over 15 years. They only increased their prices.

I started going to the Spa with my Mother and Sister when I was a kid - I learned how to swim there! I absolutely love the place and the employees fantastic - especially at the front desk! I believe that it is one of the only places in the world that has a hot mineral well that pumps both... More

The desert hot springs hotel looks to have been built in the 50's, when we checked into our room the refrigerator was working, consequently the room smelled of rooted food also the A/C wasn't working and we were there in the summer. We went to front desk and asked for their help in getting a room at the neighboring hotel... More

Signs of deferred maintenance are everywhere you look. Heaven knows what goes on behind the scenes in this scruffy facility. I suspect the repair budget is spent mainly on duct tape. Some off the staff came across as surly and disinterested. This was not the case with the staff I encountered in the bar however. They were polite. Whoever owns... More

First, I did not stay at this hotel. However, I did purchase a day pass for the "spa" and take a tour of the facilities. The mineral spas are nothing more than a bunch of heated pools that required more cleaning (debris and hair floating in some). The changerooms were so drab and dreary, and I refused to let my... I have been staying here for 30 years . The place is older and worn a bit . The food is very good . Fish and chips 10 bucks . The fruit plate in the pineapple is to die for , you can share it with everyone . If you are excepting a 5 star it is not . Lower... More

I love to take the miracle waters of the Mt. San Jacinto runoff at the Desert Hot Springs Spa. The water is amazing, and can heal what ails you. The thing that makes the place really special in my mind is the diversity of the guests. You'll find every age, color, shape and size of folks enjoying the oasis. It... More

Yes, you get what you pay for! This is a cheap facility, so you have to expect problems. We dealt with three staff members during our visit who had trouble being friendly/answering questions. There are several hot pools, all in an outdoors setting, surrounded by loungers, shrubs, and palm trees. The pools are of different temperatures, your guess which is... More

We went there on a hot afternoon (after a morning hike) to relax and unwind. There are 8 pools here; most of them hot soaking pools, one of them with jets. There is also an olympic size swimming pool. Prices vary according to the day of the week you go there: M, W, Th $5; T$3; holidays $8; F, Sat,... More
