We read really nice reviews about this place and we tried, I was hoping to have the luxury bath, but when I asked was not available, the building was looking abandoned, the service not really good, was to crowded and I didn't like it.

Very good thermal water even for the well being
Jul 2018 • Couples
Ypati thermal water is really good, we have been in Ypati in the past and always come back for its water. It is a very well organized facility with private basins if you like your bath alone and in privacy but there is also a big pool with thermal water for the public.
We have used the pool this time going early in the morning upon opening and we stayed for at least an hour although it is recommended to stay less in the water. Around the pool, there are armchairs you could also sit after a bath and enjoy the sun. Staff is very friendly and professional with guests. There is also a bar by the pool where you can have a coffee, snack or refreshment, the gentleman who runs it, is making excellent coffee and snacks. The ticket to enter the facilities are quite reasonable and probably cheaper to what we paid in other facilities around the country. I must also mention that ticket includes a shower cup so hair not spread in the water. Ypati thermal spring is handy to reach, just over 2 hours if you are coming from Athens and it is good for many diseases but also good for the well being.

My most relaxing holidays
Aug 2017 • Couples
I have been in Loutra for one week daily in August and I really enjoyed it! The bath makes you feel very relaxed and also gives a lot of energy. The staff is very nice, it is incredibly cheap and the pool offers - besides spledid water quality - a fabulous view on the nearby landscape and the close mountain Oiti.
Next to the thermal baths is a nice park where you can have a good time in the evening, and in the villages around I had the best vegetables I ever ate :-)
I'm looking forward to next summer when I will return there for sure.

Roumeli ... Hot Springs in the heart of Sperchios River Valley.
Jul 2017 • Family
Oldies & Goldies. This Spring has a lot of history strongly connected with the nature. The outdoor pool is small but enough to understand how healthy is the spring from the ancient times. All infrastructure needs recostruction but easy you could understand that the staff try to serve well. In the heart of a perfect and old fashion park near older times hotels. The strange smelling comes from the springs, don't worry ...

Came here about an hour before dark, I was the only person there. The gentleman who runs the place was very kind, didn't speak any english but pantomimed to explain to me how the tubs work. I had my own private bath which was lovely and relaxing. When it was time to pay, he wouldn't take my money! A very kind and welcoming introduction to Loutra Ipatis and I was most grateful.

Nice swimming in the thermal sulphur swimming pool
Aug 2016 • Family
Possibility of nice and healthy swimming in the open-air thermal swimming pool with splendid view over the mount of Iti (connected to the Greek mythology). Good as a prophylactic or helping in various diseases. Cost is 4 EUR/p.p. (2 EUR children/students). Take your own towel.

The best for your health
Aug 2016
This hot spring it's a natural gift healing a lot of health problems . I visited once and I will definitely come back again. There is a nice pool where you could enjoy the benefits of the hot spring tidy and proper for the whole family. The area in general is green and the air is clean thanks to small amount of cars crossing the village.

We were advised to come here and its well worth it. €4 euro is an absolute bargain for the a thermal bath for 30mins. It really makes you feel rejuvenated. The staff were really friendly. I would really recommend here.

Balm for the soul
Apr 2016 • Friends
April 2016 we arrived in Loutra Ipatis after a long drive and just wanted to make it straight over to the thermal Spring spa. It was 4.40pm and the spa was to close at 5pm. The owner of the Lux hotel made that magical phone call which allowed us not only enjoy the spa, but allowed us to stay for the recommended 20-30min. A very friendly caretaker took over when the reception closed and we were able to stay and enjoy this amazing sulphur spa, which, contrary to our expectations, did not emit a strong sulphuric odour. I have never felt such smooth water and the temperature of 37C was heavenly.entrance fee €4!! Not to be missed.
