Fun Place

Great place for your dog to frolic in the surf. Most everyone who was there was mindful of their dogs behavior

What's not to love? A beach full of dogs, having the times of their lives! Birdies to chase, tide to swim in, people to love. Add unlimited kibbles and this would be a dog's idea of paradise.

This is an awesome beach to take kids and our four-legged friends. If you aren't enjoying the waves of the ocean on the Pacific side you can float underneath the bridge and enjoy the lagoon. Standup paddle boards are perfect for the tranquil lagoon area where the Rivermouth is. You can also surf right in the Rivermouth. If you're lucky... More

This is a great place for dogs. But make sure to come at low tide, or there won't be much beach:) Also, don't come running through here if you don't like dogs, lol.

This really is a nice place to bring your dogs. We saw several and what fun to watch. Running into the ocean chasing a ball or frisbee. It was not over-packed. Was great. Thank you Del Mar for having this special place.

Not a huge beach, especially at high tide, but a great place to let your dog run free and socialize with dozens of other dogs. Parking can be challenging and the closer spots on the street are metered. Fun cliffs for dogs to climb around.

Loved our short visit to the dog beach in Delmar. The beach is extremely clean and people do a good job picking up after their dogs. The dogs were having so much fun, we could have watched them all day!

A clean, well maintained beach for all the family, and dogs. Busy with swimmers and surfers when conditions allow, nice for a walk at sunset, for playing ball games, sitting or sunbathing. No concession stands or anything, but the restaurants and shops of Del Mar are a short walk away.

Ok first of all obviously this place is not for any kind of aggressive dog. Most dogs are off leash and it could be easy for them to get into fights if aggressive. Next, we brought our German Shepard and it was amazing. All breeds and sizes of dogs having a blast together. This beach has nice sugar sand, and... More

This is a beach that you share with dogs. The owners are very considerate (Mostly) and the sunsets here are spectacular to say the least. This is a wanderers paradise.
