An amazing gem in the middle of the Swedish forest. Been visiting several times with my friends and family. Highly appreciated by everyone. The staff is so friendly and service minded. They really want you to get the best experience possible. There are more things to do than just entering the amazing mine. You can pan for gold, make your own food over an open fire, climb a wall and much more. Other than that you feel at peace when you are there. The nature is amazing and be on top of the mine and just watch the view is mind blowing. Pack your bag and prepare for a true adventure. Highly recommend not one but many visits.

Unfortunately and very disappointing, today from approximately 13.00, the mine was extremely congested and full with too many visitors inside. There were too many people to make it enjoyable PLUS given the current CV19 circumstances, it was impossible to social distance. I gave direct feedback to a member of staff who replied with "what are we supposed to do"? 🤯 I am sure it would have been a pleasant visit if managed correctly, but it's quite clear this is being managed in a way which prioritized money over the visitors, their experience and their wellbeing. Unless visitor numbers inside the mine are controlled and limited, I would absolutely not recommend it.

Surprising thrilling, in the midst of nowhere is this nickel mine located. Don’t forget cash for the entry fee, as WiFi connection is irregular which makes card payment sometimes work, sometimes not. If tendency to feel stressed out in cramped spaces, this might not be for you as the corridor leading into the mine is several hundred meters long, dark, cold (+2C) and narrow. For you others, definitely worth a visit if in the vicinity.

The people working at the mine are very helpful and friendly and offer this experience at quite a good money/experience ratio. The mine itself is quite an unique experience. When we visited it was a warm and humid day but as you step in the mine you feel none of that anymore, as it is pretty cold inside. Make sure to adjust clothing to that! Other than that, the mine looks authentic and offers a clear view on what life in the mines were like. You pay around €10,-/120KR. Worth the money in my opinion.
