This by far is one of the best surf spots in Southern California and the best one in Orange County. There is plenty of paid parking, public bathrooms, a park and a lifeguard on duty during the summer.

This was a great place to sit and watch or walk. The surfing was crazy with the high surf. The sounds of the waves is amazing! Favourite sound ever. Didn’t see any whales off shore but lots of pelicans cans!

Not my favorite beach in OC, but nice to come when the waves are good. Great place to watch the surfers. World class surfing spot, so always entertaining.

The perfect place to bring our family. We enjoyed a few mornings and afternoons here. Quiet in the winter. Gorgeous and formidable waves.

Nice beach to sit back relax or surf. The waves at this beach are well big enough to surf or body boarding. Nice walk path which is parallel with the ocean and convenient parking which is atop the hill.

There is a pay to park parking lot at the top of the hill by the beach and a steep walk down. Or you can pay $1 each to take a golf cart shuttle ride down to the beach with your chairs and umbrella.
