Beautiful, convenient and so much to do. Several trips here and each time has been great. Nice swimming area, stand up paddle board rental, kayak rental, sailing lessons, and whale watching trips. Can't go wrong planning a day here

WE love love love Dana Point Harbor. It is the best kept secret and far better than Newport or Huntington Beach Harbor. It is small, quaint but beautiful. There are wonderful restaurants, and nice shops.

Not that I've ever seen but after heavy rains it's there. According to the Orange County Register, it's flowing again. Google it. I can't post html links here.

No, there are no waterfalls at Dana Point. There are some scenic beaches to explore, lots of picnic spots, good restaurants, huge marina with interesting boats, and the Ocean Institute is quite intriguing! Lots to see and... More
