I went there and thought that I would go for a walk in the park but it turned out to be a hike into the mountains. I wasn’t easy but it was worth. I would definitely do it again.

A great park close to the City of Cupertino and local freeways. Many trails start here and connect with Mid Peninsula Open Space. Boating and fishing are available in Stevens creek Reservoir.

If you're planning to fish from the shore at the reservoir, wear hiking boots. When the water level is low, the 45 degree angle slope is very slippery from the loose dirt and rocks. You could easily slide right down into the water. It's not...More

First of all i didn’t visit here at a right season/ time, the car park is totally empty . Due to government shutdown, nobody is collecting fee. I think it’s a good place to visit for those who doesn’t want to travel far

I was visiting in San Jose, and we drove to Cupertino's Stevens Creek Reservoir for a short hike. It was beautiful and not strenuous. There were places to sit with beautiful views, and we had a lovely time there.

Thankfully the reservoir has a restored water level making for fun fishing, canoeing, or kayaking. Picnicking, hiking, and biking around the park is so peaceful.

Steven's Creek Reservoir is a decent place to kayak and, if you like fishing, to catch-and-release. Swimming is not allowed; however, there are plenty of opporunities around the reservoir and adjacent ranches to hike, picnic and horseback ride. If you like archery, there is an...More
