Getting to Ridge is definitely part of the fun. Steep, winding, and stimulating. The tasting room is beautifully located with great views for a post tasting picnic. With a long history of great wines, Ridge Montebello should rate a historical marker. All good reasons to...More

The drive to the top of the mountain where Ridge Vineyards sits is a bit harrowing, but once at our destination, we had a lovely time. The walk-in tasting was very laid back, very generous pours, and the hostess was great. Very sold wines, and...More

A terrific wine tasting experience. Excellent Zinfandels! The view of the South Bay from up there is stunning. A great place to take a sandwich etc. and open a bottle and enjoy in their outdoor seating spots.

We love Ridge Chardonnay, therefore it was obvious to visit the Vinyard and make a tasting there. It was even much better than expected. The tasting was the best we ever have done, because of the explanations and background stories we got. The location is...More

Perched at the end of the winding and scenic climb is one of the finest Vineyards I've ever been to! We did a tour of the winery and vineyards and tasted 5 amazing wines including the Montebello.

He can't attend a tasting, but there is a picnic area where he'd be welcome.
