We decided to take a little detour and what a plesant surprise. A lot of old cars dating all the way back to the old Ford model A set up in a nice environment and a cup of coffee.

To see all those great old cars and machines was very informative. The coffee and the cakes afterwards was even better. Accessible for wheelchairs. A must see for everyone.

If you are in the Northern parts of Iceland, near Hofsos or Sauðárkrókur, and you do like cars, do check this out. You will be pleased with the huge collection they have put together with great care in restoration. It's a good rest stop too to stretch your legs from the long northern drives.

Many cars in this museum. Most of them are inside so it's a good idea to go there when the weather is not so good! But it can be a bit cold inside the house but the staff offered us warm coffee (included). Staff very friendly and will kindly answer all of your questions (also recommended what we could do in the whole area and gave us some brochures). If you are interested in cars you can spend hours there, the rest of us I think an hour will do. I think it needs a play area for young children and active ones.

Very interesting car and equipment museum. There are both beautifully restored and subject in a historical condition. The atmosphere and guidance received by the owners were outstanding.
