It used to be nice.

I have visited this park - I was there just yesterday - and there was about 20+ drug addicted homeless hanging out there with all their belongings. This park is no longer a safe place due to the drug addicts hanging out there and those who give them handouts to encourage them to stay. You'd be safer if you were... More

Its not like it used to be.....went there for over 50 years...but now I don't feel safe going there...not bashing the homeless people....not one bit...but there are some that hang out there that are loud, obnoxious and downright rude...not a place for children. A BIG hangout for the homeless

I started taking my kids to this park maybe 20-25 years ago, as it was right next to the library we would make a fun day of it. There is a large cement jet there so we referred to the park as the Jet Park. The community center is still there offering a number of activities for young and old.... More

It used to be a nice park where you could take your kids to the playground, and play with the swings, but it is now invaded by the homeless, and the city does allow it. Scary place in the afternoon when they are drinking, and whatever they are doing (you got the picture)

It's an old park and a bit shabby. The library is here. So are lots of homeless people. There are better parks in Costa Mesa.

This park has a small playground but is in a very busy area. Many people who don't have a place to stay have made this park their home. People need a place to go and this park has been that place. Its close to a soup kitchen and in a safe area for people to get some rest while they... More

I am not a park friendly, but you can go with family if you come with family. Generally people come here for beach, if you have extra time you can spend some time here (like on rainy day or too much of beach)
