I had gone with friends to a baby shower, out to several restaurants. Several days later I'd had to put all my personal belongings in a self storage in June 2012. I had been homeless for a week, so just to relax, before staying in a motel nearby. Tewinkle Park was nearby. It's a beautiful park. My dates aren't apart of... More

Get there early and you'll love the peace and quiet. It gets crowded later but before 10 am is very nice. Take the kids and let them place on the big playground area. Nice areas to walk and see the ponds and the ducks.

This park has a great play place and bathrooms. There is a lake here as well. We had a party here and there was natural shade under the trees. There are some prime locations here.

Tewinkle Park is a nice 49-acre park, good for walking or picnicking, and has a nice playground for children. You can walk your dogs on leash here or take them to the dog park across the road where the dogs where they can play off leash in separate fenced areas for large and small dogs. There are ducks and geese... More

This park has some pleasant duck filled ponds, waterfalls and a great play area. There is a pine tree covered hill in the center that gave me the feeling I was hiking on a mountain path. My kids really liked this park and can't wait to go back. On the weekends there are lots of birthday parties in the park.... More

Our seniors club has a potluck picnic there every year in September. We reserve the canopied party area $35 fee. It works really well for us, as the bathrooms are close and it is handicap friendly to park and walk there. There is a very nice play area children. Parking is free and no entry fee to use the park.

Tewinkle is a pleasant park across from the Orange County fairgrounds which makes it a perfect venue for a pre or post picnic for the fair or tailgate for a concert. Strategy: get magnificent take out from Taco Mesa nearby and dine at a covered table in the park.

This is a fine municipal park. There are picnic tables, BBQ grills, a small playground, a man-made lake with water fowl, and plenty of greenery. Virtually every weekend in the summer, there's a wedding party here getting their pictures taken. There's horse stables across the street, so every now and then you will hear a whinny.
