we have seen 2 productions there recently. IF/THEN with idena manzel and the Illusionist. both were good. watch the language in if/then. not sure why F bombs have to be used so much. actually detracts from the production. the illusionist is good but not great. some nice magic acts but you were left with a sense of AGT productions. but... I have been there a few times, mostly to see the Pacific Symphony. It is very beautiful on the outside to make you feel that you are going to a modern theater. The lobby area is a good size for the side of the theater with beautiful art work to adorn it. The theater itself has excellent seating at all... More

From Broadway plays to orchestral performances we have seen it all here. We are never disappointed. This time we went to see Vanguard Universities excellent performance called Christmas Fantasia. Orchestra level seats and the room is alive acoustically.

This is an award winning and right;y so venue. Terrific theater for Broadway quality performances and even better venue across the plaza for concert events. Great seats but strongly suggest center orchestra for plays. Terrific acoustics. Plenty of great eating within walking distance

Visited this location for a Straight No Chaser concert. It's a beautiful venue with wonderful acoustics. There aren't any obstructions to most seats, although the highest ones would have a difficult time seeing any other view than straight down.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts believes in the power of performing arts to transform lives. This is evident in the variety of performances as well as well as activities open to the community. I love that the center works with schools to engage students. The center has also partnered with ABT for ballet training for children.

Generally, you might have to drive all the way to Los Angeles to see some good shows… But here, you can see almost everything and it is a beautiful facility! The drive is right, the price is right, the conveniences right, the professionalism is just right! Come and check this out.

So everyone has seen the Nutcracker -- but, this performance was over the top!! Incredible costumes, orchestra music and dance. This is for the whole family and no one - young nor old, will be disappointed. BRAVO!!

Programming at this venue is wonderful and varied so you are bound to find something to your taste. Access is easy off the 405 freeway and there is ample parking. Plenty of restaurants nearby, I recommend The Silver Trumpet, where you can have a pre theatre dinner. Allow plenty of travel time though - traffic is always bad.

We went to both of these places, and they are both excellent venues for seeing a concert/symphony and a theatrical presentation. We saw the Nutcracker. It was a great show, and we enjoyed it very much. Most of the seats are good, but if you are on a far side (which we were), you may miss out on what is... More
