What a great library. Great rooms for each age bracket. Kids library has a real train that chuggs along above the books. The teen area is exceptionally cool. They have a packed schedule that includes a little something for everybody. Outside is a coffee cart and there are wonderful seating areas outside as well as in. Biggest dvd rental I've... More

This is a great library. Wonderful young people and children's sections and an extensive adult library. Many dvd's and audio books available. Very comfortably furnished and a great place to hang out but they do require cell phones off , and it is a quiet place. It's a library. What were you thinking? Staff are helpful and friendly. There is... More

We walked down Orange Street a lot on our 3 day stay and I wanted to see the glass panels of the Wizard of Oz. They were very pretty but what I really loved was an exhibit they had at the time of Girl Scout history and memorabilia (of course, I'm a former Girl Scout)! There were four different glass... More

This library is perfect for a stop with the kids. It is within walking distance from the Del and it has the park across the street. Great option for travelers.

This is a public library with a good selection of local newspapers and the NYT, as well as quite a few magazines, etc. for a small town. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Pretty extensive opening hours, especially for this day and age when libraries are on limited budgets.

A recent visit for personal research was successful due to the assistance of the staff, who also informed me of their online services. It has a wonderful set-up with areas and selections for all ages, computers and wi-fi, work tables or cublicles, and comfortable seating. A place to take a break, recharge your mind, escape the busyness and sun, and... More

This beautiful old building on Orange Avenue in the heart of Coronado and was one of the featured buildings on a walk between the ocean area and the ferry terminal. The area around the library is very pleasant including the large park opposite so take in the scenery and the historical building if on Coronado Island.

We stopped here to have a look at their children's book section. It's very well stocked with excellent books for children of all ages. The library also had an interesting exhibition on the Navy Seals...lot's of info...past and present!
