Nice beach with a very large amount of white clean and sandy beach. Not too crowded early on the morning we visited but it probably gets a little busy in the summer on weekends. Very nice beach preceeded by a nice drive over the bridge.

This is one of the prettiest beaches we've ever visited. We only waded in the water as it was April and the waves were a tad cool for our liking, but we very much enjoyed the lovely scenery and poking around the Hotel Coronado, which...More

This is the best beach I have visited in California so far. It was clean and has nice sand. The sand looks like it has gold glitter in it. It’s beautiful. There’s tons of seashells. My daughter even found a full sand dollar. Just beware...More

We have visited Coronado's Main Beach for decades. The biggest hassle is parking, so you have to go early to find a spot that lets you carry your chairs and snacks. Go further north than just by the Hotel Del and it gets a lot...More

Always relaxing, safe for entire family even at night...Close to all San Diego activities. Weather is warm during day/cool at night. Great Coronado camp for kids ages 5-14.

I took a stroll across this large beach at the beginning of April so it wasn't warm enough for the water but still very nice. The sand DOES sparkle, many reviewers have said that and it's true. The sand was soft and the beach is...More

By local accounts, this was an early warm up but so very much appreciated by this northerner! No plastic or crap visibly seen on beach. The water is still cold in April. The sunset was beautiful too!

The views are stunning! We rented two beach chairs and an umbrella and relaxed by the water. We walked along the beach every day. They have done an amazing job building up the beach walk. It’s about 2 miles to the end by the Naval...More
