Nice experience

I really liked this beach compared to others. It was clean and quiet not too crowded. A nice experience away from all the over crowded beaches.

Beautiful, long, clean beach with lots of space. Great waves. Bring a beach umbrella and sunscreen. Not many places to buy food/drinks but there are some. Easy to find, and easy to park. Parking fee, but not expensive.

This takes a little bit of getting to, but is probably the sandiest beach among the San Diego area State Beaches. Some Navy and local families, but this is usually not as crowded as others and has a very long stretch (the strand) of sandy beach on the ocean side. You can take some tunnels to the bay side. This is such a beautiful place, there were hardly any people there which was refreshing compared to some of the other beaches we've been to. It was beautiful, the only thing was the water at the restrooms/showers didn't work and we were unable to wash up before we got back in the car. Otherwise this is one of our favorite... More

This beach is very clean, the water was a perfect temperature and there was plenty of parking (a premium in San Diego). It's easily accessed either via the Coronado Bridge or if you're starting out south of there, on the way to Imperial Beach.

I don't know exactly what is mixed in the sand, but on a sunny day the wet sand literally glitters gold. Absolutely stunning.

My favorite beach in the San Diego area. Cheaper and warmer than any of the beaches in Orange County.

We went as part of the Loews Coronado so we were able to get towel, toy chair, etc. services. The water was warm and the waves were awesome to ride and swim.

Plenty of parking, restrooms and showers close to parking, and the trek from the parking area to the beach is a short one. We had a wonderful time.
