Friends introduced me to this lovely park with a good walking trail. I enjoyed the cooler areas that had trees on the edge of the walkway.

This park has it own self guiding tour and plenty of picnic area. I've enjoyed visiting this park and refreshing my botanical education.

Great place to go browse plants to see what grows locally. They also have plant sales about once a month. Master gardeners are available to consult during plant sales.

This isn't a re-vegetated, sterile urban park, but rather a relaxing creekside trail that goes from Cowell Road to Treat Blvd. Don't expect basketball courts and kids play areas, but a very relaxing place to go. Sometimes the creek has water in it!

Not the sort of plants that you'd expect. Phenomenal cacti, succulents and such. Allow 2-3 hours, and enjoy. Young kids will be bored.
