Self-drive via land into samosir island and this is the first stop we made to gather more information on the various attractions this island has to offer.
However, arrived 11am on a friday, the information centre is closed. We did not expect a tourist information to be closed during normal working hours and a working day. So beware that the centre will be of no assistance when you arrive.
