The covered bridge was built in the 1800’s. Tragically, it was completely burned in the Campfire on November 8, 2017. There are local groups trying to raise money to rebuild it. It won’t be the same, as the original and it’s history is gone.

Our beautiful and historic bridge is now gone with the camp Fire. There are efforts in process for its reconstruction. It will be wonderful to have this local monument back.

The bridge, sadly, burned during the Camp Fire of November 2018. If you didn't get a chance to see it while it was still standing, you really missed something special.

A trip to the Honey Run Covered Bridge was a pleasant outdoor hike in the afternoon. However, one can no longer do it because this historic bridge was destroyed in the same fire that burned Paradise and other surrounding areas.

Recent "Camp Fire" that destroyed the town of Paradise, CA burned far enough down the hill to totally destroy this iconic landmark. Used to love this place but it's gone.
