Since it is the largest flower garden in Thailand so it must be good. When we arrived at the garden, my jaws dropped. The whole place is neglected, grasses are as tall as the flower plants and full of weed plants among the flower plants. Only left standing a few of the healthy flower plants. The management should do something about it since they collect some entrance fees.

I went in during the off peak period and was very glad I did. The place was pretty much empty. It felt like a had the whole place to myself. Loads of nice places to take photos. You can probably stay there for about an hour or so. Nothing more unless you are really into plant or photography.

This place is so instagram worthy, spent a good couple of hours taking photos among the flowers and in the garden. First time seeing sunflowers as tall as me. Beautiful sight to behold.

All we can recall from the visit was the heat and the numerous mounds of grass from our buggy ride. Our driver asked if we wanted to alight and take some pictures with the sunflowers which were looking quite withered and sad and we told him no and to carry on. He didn’t even bother to ask anymore from then and the whole ride took only 5 minutes. We eventually alighted at the sheep shed and fed the poorly kept (in our opinion) animals.

My wife and I were in Khaoyai for 2 days on a private tour last Wednesday and Thursday. I drew up a list of attractions which I thought was worth a visit. Although our chauffeur hinted to us upon arriving this Garden that there could be really nothing much to see, we still persisted in paying the entrance plus additional fee for a ride to the centre of the garden.
Indeed there was nothing to see. Flowers were in patches. The garden looked shabby and poorly maintained.
Of course the owners may mitigate that it is off season. If so, why charge the full entrance fees? My wife and I felt very "short changed". There is basis for us to feel so after visiting a total of 8 attractions in Khaoyai. Even the floral display in Palio Mall, (an opened air shopping mall) was more impressive!
Of course, when it is the flowring season, this garden may be really impressive but somehow I have my reservations.

We arrived in The Bloom at around 10am. The sun is already at its peak that's why it was very hard to stroll around the flower fields because it was so hot. The buggy ride was literally just a ride around the property in which there is not much to see. The houses or rooms around are quite shabby and creepy for an overnight stay so I really wonder if they are being used. There are some nice flowers though. What seems to appear ordinary in real life, transforms to amazing backdrops in photos. Yes, for those who love Instagram, then you can have your fill of nice pictures in The Bloom. But I can say the place needs some refurbishments and maintenance. Or maybe it wasn't at its peak when we visited. After our tour and taking tons of photos, we were given mango shakes (part of the package we paid). It was good. The cake was okay. But the shake is what I liked - refreshing, just the kind you need after being in the sun.

We visited The Bloom on 12 June. The flowers were withering and there was no scenery to speak of. Tickets cost 120 baht for adults and 70 for kids, inclusive of a golf cart ride. Kids below 6 go for free. We bought a package at 200 baht that consisted of entrance ticket, golf cart ride, mango smoothie, cake and bottled water. I’m not sure if it is because of the time of the year, that is why the flowers look half dead. The smoothie and cake were not great either.

We reached this place at around 11am from Bangkok, the place is hot and not much tourist. The counter will try to convince you to buy a package where by it includes a entry ticket, buggy ride, a cake and drink. We did not purchase the package but instead we only opt for entry and a buggy ride. The buggy ride is a disappointment as it bring you to a sun flower field but it is quite small, there after to a sheep farm with a few sheeps inside and that it and we are back to the entrance. Other than that, there is a path for you to walk inside and there will be many flowers and some decoration like a sun, moon, a big pink colour handbag, ferris wheel etc. Not very big though and roughly within an hour plus taking photos you can complete everything. The resort is not recommended to stay as there is nothing much inside. There are many better flower gardens though and I must say this garden is just average and small. Not really recommended but since Khao Yai activities are limited, you can choose to go or forgo.

Ticket price is not cheap. The flowers on display are average. More landscaping is needed. The whole area can be covered within 30 minutes. It's better to visit the sunflower farm or other attractions rather than this.

The website showed very attractive but we were at their entrance, we saw some are artificial flowers and some flowers did not well maintain. Hence this circumstances made us not willing to pay the entrance fee. We stayed there less than 10 mins and left with disappointment.

I’m going during March holidays. Got flowers to see?
Written December 29, 2019
I notice all the flowers there are not seasonal ones therefore should have flowers to see if the management keeps on growing more flowers and maintaining its flower garden at its best.
Written December 29, 2019
May I know it is still flower blooming season in the end of November?
Written August 20, 2018
I am confused. Is this place a hotel or a public attraction? If I am not staying at the hotel, will there be an entry fee to visit the garden?
Written November 30, 2017
There is a hotel next to this attraction. You need to pay the entry fee.
