Though I was initially somewhat disappointed this botanical garden is not actually seaside and has no views of the ocean, this was quite a gem and one of the nicest botanical gardens I have seen. Entry is free, since it is at the site of...More

I've been going to Seaside Gardens for years now. They have an extensive selection of all different kinds of plants, grouped according to origin and type. The best thing about this place though, is the extensive planted areas designed by local landscape designers. It's a...More

Most locals don't even know about this place. Many different areas, including a local to California. Plan on spending a couple hours here..my favorite place is the koi pond

Seaside Gardens is in a nice location with a great selection of planes. If you go in June, the Lotus are blooming in the koi pond. A great place to get ideas for your garden. A little bit on the prices side.

I had planned to visit an expensive succulent garden nearby. Instead, I ended up at this wonderful free garden and shop. The owners were friendly and had a map which helped us tour plants from around the world. We spent almost two hours wandering and...More

Visit this treasure, even the kids will enjoy it. They have everything and if you can't find it, the very knowledgable staff will guide you in the right direction - however I am sure they will have the plants you are looking for.

This garden is unique and beautiful. Living on the East Coast, we don't really think about drought tolerant plants, so it was interesting to see all that.

My favorite nursery and garden in Carp. I love to visit the planted gardens numerous times during the year, there's always something blooming. Garden landscaping is beautiful with hidden areas for sitting and contemplation. Staff is great, always helpful.

This nursery has a large area of growing plants, so you can get ideas for your own yard and see how the plants grow in the area.

Yes, most of the path is flat, bare dirt, with few obstacles, and with the path shaped like interlocking rings (rather than a straight mile one way, then back) it is easy to exit at any point, so the viewer can easily choose... More
